I'm not quite sure how I got here, other then I was clicking through a series of links tonight and stumbled upon this forum. I am a christian, however, I'm probably what one would call a backslider somewhat. I haven't been to church in years, however, I was raised in the faith. I guess the scripture that states that the World of God does not come back null and void is true. Despite my wandering off, the Lord is always with me. I'm feeling with all the changes going on in the world, that I need to connect with other Christians. I live in a small city that really doesn't have many good churches, however, I do need some sort of fellowship. I'm hoping this will be a good place to start. I know the Lord is coming back soon, so I guess I just want to be ready and doing the things that the Lord wants me to be doing until He returns again. It would be lovely to make some new friends here and perhaps reconnect with my spiritual roots again.

Would love to chat with other Christians again. Hope to meet some of you soon!

Welcome to the board. You've found the right place.

Yes, we can see things are starting to real point to the soon return of the Lord Jesus Christ. Many prophecies have been fulfilled during out lifetime and many more are clearly coming into place. It is an exciting time to be alive.

As for backsliding, we all tend to do that some. Remember the story of the prodigal son. God is always waiting for us to return to him.
