I think this is the right forum for this question, but if not mods please feel free to move. My sister was messing around on the internet, and came across a site by David Icke, and asked me if I knew anything about him. The name sounds familiar as someone to avoid. Am I right? Do you have any info on this guy?

David Icke suggests mirrors are a gateway to a parallel universe (or universes), that the world is actually just a giant hologram, and we are being controlled by reptilian powers who have hacked into the Cosmic Truth.

The man is not a Christian: he is in fact Occult ... yet possibly thousands of Christians believe the garbage he spews about in a vast conspiracy to enslave the human race ... not understanding that Icke's ideas actually are fed to him by Satan. And all that comes from Satan is a lie. There will come an enslavement, but it will occur during the Great Trib. It is not our concern. Proclaiming the gospel is. Or should be.

From doing a search, the guy seems to be a nutcase. He believes some people are part reptile amongst some other wacky things. At least that's what the search brought up....

Years ago I read one of his books. It was hilarious!! Did you know that the Queen of England is a reptilian shape-shifter?

He is most definitely a New Age guy and the end of that book was about mankind evolving into a new type of consciousness.

This David Icke reminds me of the never ending plethora of secular and religious writers that publish a truck load of nonsensical books and dvd and other publications only for one reason:MONEY.....and make a fortune out of the crass ignorance of people.....
The Wof and Nar writers are champions in this......everyday they come with some new fairy tale and if you go to a Christian bookshop you can find those books,in glossy and attractive packages,expensive books full of ROT......

What's sad is there are problems with all those industries and they could stand some reform and oversight because centralization of power, monopoly, & globalization are not good.

What's even sadder is when someone mixes a bit of truth to deceive folks with a lot of lie. Mixing a bit of truth with lie has been satan's tactic since the garden in the beginning.

Another one of those is a fellow named Peter Joseph, who is behind the Zeitgeist films. While the films do contain some historical truth to give the film-maker an appearance of credibility, but in the end these films are really attacks on Christ, promoting atheism & yet another utopian social order. John Lennon falls into this category as well. I darn near get ill when I hear his song Imagine. The lyrics are repulsive to me;

We probably live in the age that has the greatest dissemination of evil idea & deception than in any other time in history. Peoples minds & souls are under constant assault. Every time they turn on the radio, the tv, read a magazine, log on to the internet, etc., etc. With so much assault going on, that means we are in the middle of a war. A war for the souls of billions all over this world. A war whose most effective ammunition is the Testimony & Gospel of Christ.

Point out Icke's occult and Satanic beliefs and then ask her why since she is a Christian she is listening to Satan's lies rather than God's truth? Obviously she must think Satan will tell her the truth and God will keep it from her. Perhaps if she looks at what she is doing this way she will recover herself from the snare of the enemy and come back into true faith in Christ. I will pray that she does.

Today she told me she was not going to those sites anymore and had emailed her twin that she should also not go there anymore. I hope she has some influence on twin cause she sounds like she has gone off the deep end. That twin is talking about selling everything and hiding in the Ozark mountains.
