Default But I thought the FBI said they couldn't find any evidence of Satanism in the U.S.

Ran across a public internet site descibing "theistic satanism". The really weird thing is that if I'm not mistaken the FBI claimed that there are no satanic cults and no satanists in the U.S. I for one was more than a little shocked when I read the items in this article. They claim that the real Satan ie SET is out to free mankind, rather than to enslave them as "the Christian God" does, though they also question the one true God's existence. They also mock what they call fluff bunnies, or the "quasi-Wiccans" who mock Satanists. This is open to the public domain, and there was no attempt to hide any of it. Should anyone be suprised? I mean we are talking about the father of lies and his minions.
It seems ironic that atheists who are so dead set against religion, don't seem to have any problem with this. Of course, they also don't seem to have any problems with any other faiths, other than Christianity. I also ran across a group of pagans and others on Facebook, such as one claiming to be an agnostic, who like to continue to claim that Christianity is nothing more than a complimation of various pagan and older religions. Hmm, and here I thought that The birth of our saiour was the fulfillment of Jewish prophecies of the Messiah. Of course though this is the same thing that keeps happening where the only thing people seem to be able to do is attack our faith. Mocking the Bible is also in high priortiy when the prophecies in it have actually come to pass, maybe not all yet but all that is required is more time, and some is coming to pass right now. I can't personally see how anyone could look at the World around us and what is happening and not say the things spoken of in the Bible are not coming to pass. I do wonder where they get their information, as it is usually quoted in the exact same manner, as in they have gotten it all from exactly the same Earthly source, though I think we all know the ultimate source of such, as in the adversary.
Finally, they like to claim that we are full of hate; though I have run into a few self proclaimed Christians who have filled their hearts with hate, but they are usually full of nothing but hate themselves. I've heard many of them talk and they all love to talk about hating others. And with all of the drugs and alcohol that they typically imbibe I wonder how they can be sure any of their "spiritual experiences" are not the product of a drug induced hallucinations. Well regardless of the theism. atheism, agnosticism, paganism, I think we all know the ultimate outcome of such. And where this will all end up there is no Global warming, and even the most powerful coolant or sunscreen won't do anyone any good.
Sorry about posting the link. I certainly do understand. If you feel the need to delete this post Mods, I also understand that as well. I was just more than a little startled about what I found.

I honestly feel like atheist spend their time attacking Christianity because this is the only defeat there is to Satan. Once you believe in Christ then Satan has lost his battle with you. So I believe that satan is deep in the hearts of the atheist, and by their act of believing in nothing they have done satan's job for him.

Well, no offense we shouldn't be surprised at all. Of course there is always going to be a double standard, ALWAYS. Jesus promised we would be persecuted in His Name, they hate us because they hate Him.
We can complain, which there is nothing wrong with that really, or we can take joy in our sufferings because we are identifying with Christ. I opt for the latter, though there of course is nothing wrong in expressing our grief and sorrows to each other.

I actually want to thank everyone for their thoughts and input and Honestly I concur, the simple fact is that Jesus DID say they would hate us because they first hated (rejected) him. I guess I can say that I was still just a little suprised about finding something like this so out in the open on the internet, though I can also say I was being naive. Believe it or not I do definitely appreciate everybody's honesty. Hmm, I would have to say that we were all supposed to believe that there were no satanic cults in the U.S. due to the investigations of the FBI. I guess I could say that waybe there was a cover up, but I'll not go into conspiracy theory territory. And even if the FBI DID perform an honest and open inverstigation it isn't like they couldn't have missed something. They are human after all, and all human beings make mistakes.

They probably did their study by "interviewing" people and didn't trust any of their sources enough to acknowledge any of their findings...therefore it doesn't exist.

Besides I thought the real name was the Federal Bureau of Intimidation, and not investigation. Hmm, additionally we don't even really know if there ever was an actual investigation. Smoke and mirrors, smoke and mirrors... This does to show how fallable man is, and a warning about putting too much trust and dare I say it, faith in the workings of mankind.
