Jehovah’s Witnesses plan assemblies

COUNCIL BLUFFS —Two Jehovah’s Witnesses circuits will hold their annual assemblies this weekend at the Mid-America Center.

Nebraska Circuit 4B, which includes Council Bluffs, Shenandoah and other southwest Iowa communities, as well as Bellevue and other cities in southeast Nebraska, will meet Saturday.

Nebraska Circuit 4A, which is primarily Omaha, will meet Sunday.


Each area contains about 10 congregations.


Ron Rieckman a Jehovah’s Witnesses elder, expected “about 900 or so” people to attend each day.

There will be Bible lessons, testimonies about real-life experiences and baptism ceremonies for new members.
