    Thumbs up An idol perishes....

    Isaiah 46:3-8
3 Listen to Me [says the Lord], O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, you who have been borne by Me from your birth, carried from the womb:
4 Even to your old age I am He, and even to hair white with age will I carry you. I have made, and I will bear; yes, I will carry and will save you.
5 To whom will you liken Me and make Me equal and compare Me, that we may be alike?
6 They lavish gold out of the cup or bag, weigh out silver on the scales, and hire a goldsmith, and he fashions it into a god; [then] they fall down, yes, they worship it!
7 They bear it upon their shoulders [in religious processions or into battle]; they carry it and set it down in its place, and there it stands. It cannot move from its place. Even if one cries to it for help, yet [the idol] cannot answer or save him out of his distress.
8 [Earnestly] remember this, be ashamed and own yourselves guilty; bring it again to mind and lay it to heart, O you rebels!

Too many Scripture passages come to mind from watching that instructive little video...Gideon the idol-smasher, the statue of Dagon that perished in the presence of the Ark of the Covenant, all the way to the angel declaring in the Revelation, fallen is Babylon the great! (Rev 14:8)

In all seriousness, I would be more concerned that the elder gentleman who had turned the wrong way when the statue was dropped was alright. That pole looked liek it slid down his back and arm, and it could have left a nasty bruise.

Better that the injured idol-bearer enters the Kingdom of God bruised, rather than proceed to hell unharmed...I'm sure the Lord knows better than we the state of our hearts and what is necessary to wake us up, and how far to go.

How does anybody know that he did? There are no records he lived, no references, and no mentions of him by any of his alleged contemporaries. In fact the very first mention of him is in a letter a couple of hundred years later when a man claims to have seen his ghost. Next thing you know the RCC has developed an entire full-fledged history for this possibly imaginary guy, a history that a thousand years later turned the man into one of the champions of the early Christian faith and created both a church and relics through which they greatly increased the flow of moneys into their coffers. Except there is no record of this person ever having lived. But then there is very little fact behind the majority of RCC "saints" and almost no scripture behind the majority of their religious practices. St. Gennaro (St. Januarius in English) is just more of the same old RCC same old.

    Psalm 73:28

28 But as for me, it is good to be near God.
    I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;
I will tell of all your deeds.

I'd like this to happen more often, lol.

Also, did you notice the demonic screams the gathering makes starting from 0:13, and dimming out after 0:16? Creepy.

    A real smash...

    A true record breaker...

    It cracked the top ten...

    A chart smasher...

For them, it was a snap...

It was a hit for a while, then it fell from the charts...

    Its' popularity plummeted...

    Now... its' bottomed out.
