    Hello Ladies

    Hello all,

My name is Tre and I'm the mother of 3 unsaved, but wonderful children (soon to be 30, 28, and 27 years old). I'm the grandmother to one 1000 year old, 8 year old. I asked Chris to restart this thread so that I could get to know you all since I've just been popping around the board and didn't really participate in the Ladies Forum much on RN. I hope that you'll stop by.

    ysiCJ,
    Tre

Hi there! Nice to meet you--is Tre short for something? I'm Lori, mom to 17 year old and two year old daughters. I work at home and love meeting my new friends here. Good call to ask for this to be reinstated. We need a place of our own! God bless you.
    Are we there yet?

Yes, Tre, I'm curious about your name as well.

Oh, it's good to have a ladies' forum again! I was thinking over the weekend that I'd post about something if we had a ladies' forum. Of course, now I can't remember what it was.

I've been married to my "last" :D husband for 23 years and I'm still in love with him. I'm mom to a son, 28, and two granddaughters, 6 and 2. I love all of them, too. :)

I have too many irons in the fire but I'm happy. :bliss
I've got Jesus in my heart, and He has me in His.

I only say, 'Tre' because people rip up my name pretty badly. I'm named after the Trevi fountain in Rome. I'm called a variety of renditions....Trivi, Travi, Treva... So, I'm just Tre.

Hi tre, my name is Viva and I'm the mother of two boys. One is 22 and the other is 13. I work one day a week at the nursing home. I'm a hairdresser. Been doing hair for 20 yrs. My husband is home battling cancer. I am his caregiver.

My oldest son is a graduate of Auburn University and is currently living in sin with his grilfriend and her daughter. He says he is saved. I pray that he is.

I homeschool my youngest. He is my little computer boy. He helps me with most of my computer questions.

I'm glad to have the ladies forum back. We need a place of our own. Oh.... I understand folks mispronouncing your name. ... Mine is Viva... pronounced veeva. ( I came before the paper towels):laughbounce :D

Oh...I know just what you've been called...how about Vivva? It's as if people don't learn phonics anymore. Like 'i' before 'e' except after 'c' - type rules of the language.

One time I received mail addressed to Trujio. :tongue I mean, really. What's funny is I pronounce 'Tre' as 'tree'. I tell everyone at church, 'Hi, my name is "tree". Would you believe that one of the women is now calling me "tray"? I give up....I wonder what name the L-rd has for me. lol

Hehehe. Folks just don't want to believe that my name is really Viva. Not Vivian, or Viv-vee-a. :laughbounce I'm sooo used to it though. When I introduce myself I just usually say," like the papertowels."m:tongue I've got one customer that can't say my name she calles me vibee.

I would have thought that they'd have shortened the 'i'. I cannot imagine what my heavenly name is but I'm sure that everyone will be able pronounce it.

2: Hey everybody. I am 48 year old female. I have a wonderful Husband of 26 years. I also have a 23 year old son who 1 year ago became a police officer for the town that I live in. His Father was also a police officer before he was born. He left that for a better paying job at the airlines when we got married. I am a stay at home mom/wife. Just wife now. My son Chad bought a great little starter home in Aug. It's just 4 miles from me. I am so happy about that. I love animals. I have one small dog and two kitty cats. They are my children now while I wait for grandchildren. Gotta get Chad married first. Gotta do it all in the right order you know. LOL. I love to read my bible and come here every day. I was a lurker at RN. Every day I was there. Boy, was I lost until I found ya'll again. I Love it here. I also am here just about every day. I love reading what everyone has to say. God Bless every single one of you.

Ok, I'm in. My name is just plain julie but I have been called Judy, Julia, Jill, and many things I couldnt say here.:laughbounce I misspell lots of things. I really have a hard time with that i before except after c thing. I know there are exceptions .... I think the english language stinks, wish they just spelled stuff the way it sounds. Unfortunately I'm divorced, My own fault for disobeying the Lord and I beleive it was meant to teach me humility. Two children, daughter20, (on the fence) son 18, (definately saved praise God, he was touch and go for a while). 5 cats, 3 hens and a scaredy cat rooster. The Lord recently guided me into my own buisiness in landscaping full time for which I am extremely gratefull. If you have any questions on gardening, I'm your girl! I have been a believer as long as I can remember but I rebelled in my youth for which I am now ashamed. Joining all in prayer for our unsaved or precarious family members.

I was named for my father (Robert leads to Roberta) despite the fact that I have 2 brothers. I've always thought it that I got Daddy's name. And now I meet a woman who was named after a fountain! I think that's keen. :D

    Hey Ladies!

My name is Lisa. In my baby book, my mom wrote, "I named Lisa for herself." I've been married to my darling husband for 8 years. We have no children, but we have two very spoiled cats. I've been an elementary school teacher for 10 years. I'm also the Children's Ministry Director at our wacky little church. I'm really glad to be here at Rapture Forums, and especially to plug in with such a sweet group of ladies such as yourselves. God bless this board. God bless each of you.

Oh, if you could only speak to the little woman! She is an old lady. I really enjoy her when I see her. They live in the midwest, where I'm from. Kansas City, to be exact. :)
