    Default Hungry?

When was the last time you were Hungry for Jesus? When was the last time you "did eat His word and it became sweet like honey in your mouth? When was the last time you got a glimpse of His beauty? When was the last time you stopped and smelled the sweet smelling aroma of Jesus and it increased your appetite to know him?

Ladies, when you cook for Thanksgiving this year, I challenge you to think about feasting on Jesus. What does it really mean to Hunger and thirst for righteousness and YOU will be filled.

"The laborer's appetite works for Him and his hunger drives Him on." Proverbs 16:26

Jesus said, "Do not work for food that spoils but for food that endures to eternal life which the son of man will give you". John 6:27

Ladies WHAT is making you Hungry?

Jog your brain Praise the LORD

    !!!!
Being a writer defines who I am; it’s what I enjoy doing. What I write demonstrates my love for Jesus Christ, and thankfulness for the incomparable gift of His salvation.

    Thank you, sister

Amazing love! How can it be that Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?

This is the kind of post I like to read frist thing in the morning

You truly Blessed me my sister with your post.

A hunger for Jesus and His Word is food that will sustain us and strengthen us as we await His return for His Bride. Feeding ourselves on the Word strengthens our spirit. By having His strength in our spirit we can indeed be overcomers and face with peace and calm whatever comes before us in this world that is not our home.

Titus 2: 1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: 3The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 4That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

I completely agree with Ann in the comments she has made here. And also with Susan, and Dee in saying "Thank you, myinnuendo, for posting this! :)

    Good verse

Thank you for this thread. It's so easy to get caught up in food preparation, football, and the family. I'm so grateful that you reminded us what Thanksgiving should really be about.

I know this is the ladies section but, what myinnuendo999 posted was a clear sigh of what my wife and I experienced last night was a true encounter with our Lord Jesus in an unbelievable way.

We were invited to a friends house, a pastor and his wife. Just a hand full of folks there for praise and worship. What came out was an encounter none of us were expecting. WOW! The Lord touched us in a way, as I said, we DID NOT expect.

All I can say is, God's love for us it so very powerful, real, and complete! And, when you do receive a touch from the living God, it only draws you to know more!

Thanks for sharing that myinnuendo999. Our hunger for the Lord is made complete in His filling us to completeness yet leaving us to wanting more!
