    PA hits back at Ahmadinejad: You have no right to speak about Palestine
    Palestinian Authority spokesman lashes out at the Iranian president who criticized Palestinian negotiations with Israel and PA President Mahmoud Abbas.
    By Haaretz Service

    A Palestinian Authority spokesman lashed out at the president of Iran for criticizing Palestinian negotiations with Israel and PA President Mahmoud Abbas in particular, Ma'an News Agency reported on Sunday. "The one who does not represent the Iranian people, who falsified election results, who oppressed the Iranian people and stole authority has no right to speak about Palestine, its president or its representatives," Abbas spokesman Nabil Abu Rudaineh said about Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Ahmadinejad addressed a rally last week at Teheran University, where he dismissed the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, saying the fate of Palestine would be decided in Palestine and through resistance and not in Washington.

    PA Furious Over Ahmadinejad's Criticism
    by Maayana Miskin

    Palestinian Authority leaders slammed Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Saturday, accusing him of seizing power illegitimately and oppressing the Iranian people. Their condemnation followed Ahmadinejad's criticism of the PA over negotiations with Israel. PA spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh told the Wafa news agency, “He who does not represent the Iranian people, who forged elections and who suppresses the Iranian people and stole authority, is not entitled to talk about Palestine, or the president of Palestine.”

    Countering claims that Abbas is not authorized to negotiate with Israel, Rudeineh said, “President Mahmoud Abbas came to power through free, democratic, authentic elections.” He did not address claims that Abbas is no longer a legitimate leader due to the fact that he has postponed PA elections, which were originally scheduled to be held several months ago.

    Mubarak: Iran Destabilizes The Region
    Reported: 04:45 AM - Sep/06/10

    Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak said Sunday that he is worried about the new "dangers" in the Persian Gulf, a clear allusion to Iran and its nuclear program. Mubarak made the comments during a dinner held in Cairo to celebrate Ramadan. "The Muslim world faces many challenges and difficulties. We must beware of the dangers in the Gulf area, which threaten the stability of the region," he said. Egypt canceled last weekend's visit by Iranian Foreign Minister Mottaki to Cairo, following his statements against Mubarak's involvement in direct peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.

    Evidently even some muslims get the idea that if nations start tossing nukes at each other, everybody loses...
    Psalm 73:28

    28 But as for me, it is good to be near God.
    I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;
    I will tell of all your deeds.
