Netanyahu: Israel ready to go a long way for peace
Prime Minister speaks at ceremony marking official launch of direct Mideast peace talks at the White House.
By Haaretz Service and Natasha Mozgovaya

"A true peace, a lasting peace will be achieved only with mutual and painful concessions from both sides," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday at the official launch of direct peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians at the White House. "The people of Israel, and I as their prime minister, are prepared to walk this road and to go a long way in a short time to achieve a genuine peace that will bring our people security prosperity - and good neighbors," the prime minister said. "We have to get from disagreement to agreement – a big task," he warned, but added that, as he had outlined in a famous speech at Bar Ilan University at the beginning of his term, the two pillars of peace "that will enable us to resolve all outstanding issues are legitimacy and security."

Netanyahu and Abbas in Closed-Door Meeting as Direct Talks Begin
    by Gil Ronen

Direct talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) began Thursday morning in Washington. Some news agencies labeled the ceremony 'historic' but many observers expect the talks to collapse soon after they begin. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas were talking directly for the first time since Netanyahu was elected Prime Minister in 2009. Talks between Israel and the PA broke off shortly before Netanyahu entered office, when Israel – led by Ehud Olmert – launched a large scale assault on Gaza terrorists.

In her opening statement, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said she and President Barack Obama believe the talks “can succeed,” but added that "success will take patience, persistence and leadership."

Addressing the two leaders, she said: "I truly believe you are the leaders who can make this long-cherished dream a reality, and we will do everything possible to help you."
Clinton said the US would be an “active and sustained partner” in the negotiations.

I could be wrong, as I have been once or twice,,,,Ha.... but, if BiBi knuckles under to BHO pressure to give away land, or Jerusalem, Everyone had better keep the Watch, not necessarily for Jesus, but for the disaster that is quickly following him giving away the farm, so to speak. Of course, we be gone by then, so we would be looking back at the devastation, but IMO, it will surly arrive, bringing great suffering and pain to USA for our part in forcing Israel to give away God's land. OOooooo-doggie!!!

Of course, since Prophecy indicates the strengthening of a treaty, of some type, for seven years, we be very close to something earth-shattering happening (Rapture, Good). Soon, I pray, except Yesterday. Tomorrow, I can fly away, but can't fly away Yesterday.

In Messiah, Keep the Watch. Arley (Today), (Very Soon), or maybe even:

I have seen articles where members of the government have said that if Bibi doesn't end the construction freeze they will topple his government. He has supposedly told the U.S. that construction will resume. The Palestinians have threatened to cutoff talks if they resume construction. Seems to me that something is going to give soon.

I wonder how many times PA has to threaten to 'cut off talks,' before they realize what the words mean, and do it?? PA, the broken record, Bibi, the 'Smiling Wall.' PA words, against Bibi wall, generates 'Echo, Echo, echo, echo.' BHO ain't not gonna like that. Oh Well, perhaps BHO will throw Hillery at them again.

In Messiah, I'm done snickering. Arley
