    PM 'regrets' outcome of disengagement
    By HERB KEINON

On the fourth Hebrew anniversary of the disengagement from the Gaza Strip, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told his cabinet Sunday that the days of unilateral, unreciprocated Israeli actions were over. In a swipe at disengagement, Netanyahu said, "peace will go back to being based on reciprocity, not unilateralism."

"In the framework of the peace agreements, Israel expects that the Palestinians will recognize the State of Israel as the national state of the Jewish people, that the problem of the refugees will be resolved outside Israel's borders and that there will be effective security arrangements and demilitarization, with international recognition and guarantees," he said."These are not preconditions for the start of a peace process, but the basic conditions for establishing a lasting and stable peace. Palestinian moderates should internalize this."

Documents leaked to the Arabic press over the weekend indicated that Fatah, the party of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, will reject at its upcoming convention in Bethlehem Israel's call for the PA to recognize Israel as a Jewish state.

Netanyahu: We uprooted Israelis from Gaza, and now it is a terror base
    By Barak Ravid, Haaretz Correspondent

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remarked on the four-year anniversary of Israel's withdrawal from Gaza. At the weekly cabinet meeting, Netanyahu said that "Israel uprooted 10,000 of its citizens from their homes and Gaza has turned into a terror base under the control of Hamas, and sponsored by Iran." "I want to stress the fact that we are committed to the full rehabilitation of those uprooted, and the cabinet will discuss the matter next week," Netanyahu added.

"We will not put up with rocket fire [from Gaza] into our communities. We will decisively respond to every attack," the prime minister went on to declare. "Peace will once again be based on reciprocation." "Israel expects the Palestinians to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, it expects that the refugee issue be resolved outside of Israel and the implementation of effective security solutions with international guarantees - all these are conditions for the advancement of a sustainable and stable peace agreement," Netanyahu explained.

Those are great words by Bibi, just praying that he keeps them. I'm hoping they do not try to get Lieberman out of the way via the cops or Bibi will have to stand by himself with those words. I think Lieberman helps to keep Bibi on track or could at least help to keep him on track by not giving into the world demands. Praying Israel remains strong during these trying times.
