    Netanyahu-Mitchell meeting 'positive'
    By JPOST.COM STAFF

A meeting between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and US Middle East envoy George Mitchell on Tuesday was positive and the two discussed the diplomatic process, as well as the issue of settlements in the West Bank, the Prime Minister's Office said. Following their meeting, Mitchell told reporters that a "comprehensive peace in the Middle East would include peace between Israel and the Palestinians, as well as peace between Israel and Lebanon, and Syria and Israel."

In addition, he continued, the peace deal would include "full normalization between Israel and all of its neighbors in the region." "That is our objective," Mitchell said, "and to that we have committed ourselves fully." In his remarks, Netanyahu said: "I think we're making progress toward achieving an understanding that would enable us to continue, and in fact complete, a peace process that would be established between us and our Palestinian neighbors and ultimately the entire region."

    Mitchell-Netanyahu: Progress and Positive Atmosphere
    Reported: 11:59 AM - Jul/28/09

(IsraelNN.com) Progress and a positive atmosphere were reported Tuesday morning following a meeting between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Middle East envoy George Mitchell of the United States. The two-and-a-half-hour meeting was intended to reduce tensions between the two countries in the wake of US pressure on Israel to freeze Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria. Other regional subjects were discussed as well, based on Mitchell's visits to Syria, Egypt and the Palestinian Authority. The two agreed to meet again next month.

Area residents raised 11 outposts Monday and Tuesday in protest of the pressure. Two of the outposts were torn down by security forces. A crowd estimated between 1,000 and 2,000 people demonstrated in front of the American consulate in Jerusalem against the American stance.

Some of the Jewish people are beginning to speak out against obama's policies - this is good. Mitchell, obama & hillary think they have "the plan" for peace - which plan entails Israel giving in to all the terrorists demands for land, etc. We are even funding the palestenians! Bibi isn't budging, and I give him much credit for that. He has his own plan, and it just may be implemented soon.
