Iran is increasing cultural ties to China, the official Islamic Republic News Agency announced Friday.
Iran will set up a cultural center in Beijing. An agreement will soon be signed that "would pave the way for the establishment of the center and expressed Iran's readiness to expand ties with China in all artistic and cultural fields."
Also on Friday, Iran announced it will sign a memorandum of understanding with Turkey "to promote commercial and economic cooperation."
The agreements were announced the same day that talks reportedly broke down between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency over nuclear weapons.
