Default Iran just months from Nuclear Bomb

"We believe if Iran broke out now they could have a bomb in six months," said David Albright, a former weapons inspector who runs the Institute for Science and International Security in Washington. "They've done this right in front of our faces."

Iran just months from Nuclear Bomb

How many years have I heard this one?? "Iran has a nuke. No, they don't have a nuke, but will have one in three weeks. Wait! They will have nukes in five years. Oh, wait a minute, they're not making any. Correction, in six months they'll have one. No they won't. Yes they will. No, yes, no, yes...."

Yeah, same old ... same old. However, one day they WILL have one if nobody acts seriously to stop them. And it could be closer than 6 months ... though, thanks to the Stuxnet worm and some handy assassinations, their program could be further back than it would have been otherwise.

The Iranian's have had nuke weapons for some time now. These are nukes that were built outside of Iran. What this is all about is Iran's ability to build numerous weapons of their own manufacture from scratch.

Their strategic purpose is not to safeguard their people and land, it is to use those bombs on Israel and possibly the US (not sure about Europe)...hence we will not likely see any tests or trumpeting of achieved capability. The first the world will know for sure is when those bombs are used; and because the response will be devastating, they will make sure their first use is as spectacular as they can make it. We are not dealing with rational men here...they regard dying and killing in the name of their idol as supreme acts of devotion...indeed, it is the only guaranteed ticket to heaven for them. What a foul satanic lie the whole of islam is. Closely related is the leftist suicidal/genocidal utopia-building dream...they are exploiting the islamics to bring the western house down and remodel it in their image. This is done in various ways, such as immigration of a subversive element, propaganda and lawfare, and fanning the flames of crisis so as to be able to put forward a solution. A Psalm 2 solution, a vain plot indeed.

There are a few eschatologists, myself included, who believe that Jeremiah 49:34-39 may see a literal fulfillment in the very out-of-the-blue soon.

Just discussed this yesterday in email with Bill Salus: Israel may be preparing to strike Iran's N infrastructure with the GBU-28 deep bunker penetrators we (GWB) transferred to them in 2005-06.

Iran says could deploy navy near U.S. coast: report

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran raised the prospect on Tuesday of sending military ships close to the United States' Atlantic coast, in what would be a major escalation of tensions between the long-standing adversaries.

"Like the arrogant powers that are present near our marine borders, we will also have a powerful presence close to American marine borders," the head of the Navy, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said, according to the official IRNA news agency.

Speaking at a ceremony marking the 31st anniversary of the start of the 1980-1988 war with Iraq, Sayyari gave no details of when such a deployment could happen or the number or type of vessels to be used.

The declaration comes just weeks after Turkey said it would host a NATO early warning radar system which will help spot missile threats from outside Europe, including potentially from Iran. The decision has angered Tehran which had enjoyed close relations with Ankara.

And it comes a few months after Iran sent warships through the Suez canal, after the fall of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, the first time the Islamic Republic had deployed navy vessels in the Mediterranean.

The United States and Israel have not ruled out military action against Iran if diplomacy fails to stop it getting nuclear weapons. Tehran denies it is developing nuclear arms saying its atomic program is for purely peaceful purposes.

Iran has dismissed the threats, warning that it will respond by hitting U.S. interests in the Gulf and Israel if any such attack happened.

Analysts say Tehran could retaliate by launching hit-and-run strikes in the Gulf and by closing the Strait of Hormuz, the waterway where about 40 percent of all traded oil passes.

The Islamic state often launches military drills in the country to display its military capabilities amid persistent speculation about a possible U.S. or Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear facilities.

If you watch IFC/MMA , the the flying superman punch is sometimes effective, but more often leaves the thrower with vital areas exposed....
Consider the words of Omar M. Ahmad, founder of CAIR: "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant." ... "The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America , and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth."

I have addressed this issue repeatedly since 2005. I did so again in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. Today I addressed it yet again in light of 'Reza Khalili's' article in The Washington Times this past Thursday. The fact is... Iran has had nuclear weapons capability for some time now. It is common knowledge in the hall of power in Washington DC.

Washington Times makes it official: Iran already nuclear armed

    By Sean Osborne

30 October 2011: Last Thursday, 27 October 2011, The Washington Times published an article written by the pseudonym and former-CIA mole within the Iranian Revolutionary Guard corps (IRGC) ‘Reza Khalili.’ The article, “KAHLILI: Iran Already Has Nuclear Weapons,” should come as no surprise to long-time readers of the Northeast Intelligence Network. I began reporting the same information back in March 2005 with updates and additional information published in 2006, 2007, 2008 and then in 2009 with my 2008 report carried by Canada Free Press. Not to steal any thunder from Reza Kahlili’s report, but the Northeast Intelligence Network was ahead of the curve on the nuclear-armed Iran issue by a whopping six years, or just enough time to put the finishing touches on a working warhead design to mount on a validated ballistic missile delivery system.

Kahlili’s report provides several paragraphs of necessary background information on the Iranian nuclear weapons program given the acuteness of the American public’s attention deficit disorder. Apparently most of us believed our Bush Administration’s stated position that Iran under an apocalyptic-minded “Twelver” regime would never be allowed to possess a nuclear weapons production capability. In November 2008 a majority of American’s opted for “change you can believe in” and the Obama Administration’s pledge that sanctions along with our allies nuclear non-proliferation regime was up to the task.

Americans were wrong on both counts. Kahlili reveals in this article that former US Air Force Captain Mathew Nasuti attended a U.S. State Department briefing in March 2008 in which the briefer asserted it was “common knowledge” that Iran had “acquired tactical nuclear weapons from one or more of the former Soviet republics.” Oh, you mean like the Kh-55 cruise missiles with their 200kT nuclear warheads smuggled out of the Ukraine? Kahlili also reports that Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer of “Able Danger” fame said his sources reveal that Iran has ” two workable nuclear warheads.”

What amazes me is that it took this long, six full years, for an American mainstream newspaper to finally publish something more than prima facia evidence of a clear and present Iranian nuclear threat to these United States. Remember, Iran has been at war with the United States since the current regime of Ayatollah’s invaded our Embassy in Tehran 32 years ago. What will amaze me even further is if the Obama Administration will actually act in the defense of the United states and our allies against this Iranian threat. If only a true Ronald Reagan-minded Conservative with the testicular fortitude to act were present and accounted for we might have a fighting chance before an Iranian nuke turns off our electrical grid.

    Hope springs eternal!

When I was a kid, it was nuclear annihilation that was scary. Now, it's the thought of the terror and slow death of life without electricity that is haunting. My grandparents used to talk about it, and now my parents do. It is a very hard life, one that I am in no way prepared for-- Well, I handpicked cotton, helped with the processing of meat after killing hogs, worked a bit putting up corn and cooking out beets in a huge tub outside-- vaguely remember my grandmother wringing chickens' necks and cooking out lard-- But ugh! Who wants to do that?! Besides, I have no cotton or corn patch and no chickens or hogs.

Nope. No electricity, I don't want to go there.

Sean, I'm not doubting you, but I am wondering...if the Iranians have had nuclear capability all this time, why haven't they used it yet, either against the United States or against Israel? What's keeping them from attacking us now?

Because the Iranian Shi'a Twelvers are equally driven by their eschatology and chained up or restrained by it. They must act according to their eschatological beliefs.

On another level, they are very much in obedience to the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei - what he says goes. Period. Ayatollah Khamenei still has total control of the IRGC and the IRGC are the gate keepers of Iran's nuclear capabilities. I often refer to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as the Ayatollah's sock-puppet... because he is.

Precisely. The "they don't have them yet" crowd are politically motivated left-of-center apparatchiks. These are the folks who gave us the ridiculous and now totally discredited/debunked 2007 NIE. The "they have them crowd" are realists who don't want to see vindication of their analysis; they want preemption instead.

John and Jane Q. Public get tired of the debate and go back to sleep or just continue grazing contentedly.

So would it be safe to say that when Israel bombs Iran’s nuclear plants and along with that the killing of Russian citizens, that will be the catalyst to which the Battle of Gog and Magog starts???

There are so many things prophetically going on right now it is hard for me to keep track. I am still shocked that Iran was tied to the assassination attempt of the Saudi Ambassador a month or so ago. What is it they are trying to do? It all seems like it is converging into the countries of Iran and Syria with hate everywhere. I am still a little fuzzy on the sequence of the following:

Arab / Israeli war described in Psalm 83
Israeli / Syria war described in Isaiah 17 (will lead to the destruction of Damascus)
Russian & Muslim Nations / Israeli war described in Ezekiel 38 & 39 (Gog / Magog)

Each day is getting more and more interesting…………….
