Russia's recent invasion of Georgia over South and North Ossetia has convinced me that those of us who are Christians have very little time before Jesus Christ returns to take us home at the rapture. They are still in Georgia and South Ossetia in viiolation of Georgia's national sovereignty. Ezekiel 38 and 39 indicate that Russia will attack Israel in the latter days when Israel is dwelling safely. Ezekiel 38:11-12 says, "And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are nows inhabited, and upon the peoople that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land."

Yes, Ezekiel 39 says God is going to judge Russia and the Arab coalition when they attack Israel, the apple of God's eye. I believe that it will happen in our lifetimes as prophetic events are moving swiftly in these last days before Christ returns. Amen and Amen!

I completely agree Phillip. It seems Russia is heading for their showdown in the mountains of Israel. Russia's long history of anti-semitism is going to cause them to pay a steep price for it. I think Russia's continued rhetoric towards the US and the West will ultimately cause them to make their fatal move. It doesn't seem like we will have long to wait, especially if Israel strikes the Iranians. I personally tend to think that will be the domino to fall that gets them to start marching. JMHO.

I agree with you completely.:iagree I think that there will be an attack on Iran, because I don't believe that Israel has a choice. I heard on the news today that Iran was altering its missles to enable them to carry nuclear weapons. So much for Iran's "peaceful" nuclear energy plan. I think that there's a good chance that a lot of prophecy is on the verge of being fulfilled in a very short period of time.

Yes, Chris, I tend to agree. I cannot see the bear just sitting in his den if the US does take out Iran. I think he would feel the necessity of moving south in some sort of show of force to demonstrate he will not allow another power to act within his (Russia's) presumed sphere of influence without consequences.
