Brisbane Queensland, capital city hit by flood, indeed the whole state of queensland was flooding.
Japan hit by major earthquake, tsuanami, nuclear power station problems.
US snowstorms,
US tornados,
US flooding,
Civil war Lybia, insurrections Syria, yemen, and a few other mid east countries.
Spain earthquake.
Egypt moslem christian clashes.
Europe and US can hardly say they have overcome the global financial crash.

What does the rest of the year hold?

it is going to get worse, much much worse.
If your expecting the tribulation a hundred years from now, i don't think so.

my advice to you.....
buy baked beans in a can. lots of them, live in the country..underground.
move from new york, in fact leave the US...or buy the baked beans.
