Smile guys who hunt & fish

Well, can i let a few of you guys who truly are into fishing and who also might like to watch tv...lol...take a stab at this? what would you do?

i'm needing prayer as I am wrestling on a decision on where i might move to.

it appears so far that i'll be moving into a apartment this tue afternoon and I have a deposit on hold. This apt. is 42 miles from where i want to be fishing in B.C. Canada.

A few days ago i thought to check craigslist one more time if there were other places that might be better for me and my dog rather than apt. living and i found one that is only 20 miles from fishing and at the border crossing. sweet enough but it's not mine yet. money will be tight but God is good.

Im deciding to check out this place on monday, and again is only 20 miles from fishing grounds. Only problem with this place is that it doesn't have a washer dryer which i could get by until i buy one but i also will not have cable or sat. coverage due to circumstances of comcast not serving the area. I have my direct tv receiver when i moved down from alaska last year but never turned it in hoping to find a place to put it up when i moved to WA state. Now they're telling me i owe them 700.00 so until i pay them no tv, no baseball. nothing. maybe it will help me stay in God's word and live without. that would suck but i'm prepared.

in the city where the apt is, i get comcast and will be able to watch mlb on my LG wireless blue ray player over netcast. Sweet, i know! I also know when im done fishing and i cross the border into wa state that i'll be darn a wishing i was living this town but again no tv, no washer dryer.

If i decide to follow through on the apt in the big city my gas expenses will double from $11.00 per day to over 25.00 per day. Sure, it's a no brainer and what do i enjoy most? i really think i'm changing my mind about the baseball and tv thing. I rather be on the river fishing 4 days a week instead of sitting in the city broke because not enough money for gas. I really like the apt in the city. has a balcony, and get 12 megs of internet speed so i can watch every game on tv rather than my pc which is much more comfortable. It's a 1 bdrm and the border apt is 2bdrm for the same price. well, if anyone wants to take a stab at this i would appreciate the words...until then i'll be praying. The other thing is if i change my mind, then i'll most likely be homeless a few more days until i get my deposit back in a few days. maybe the apt owner will let me hang out a few more days.

I honestly don't know, but I'll be praying for you!

Frustrated Re: guys who hunt & fish

thank you. i didn't mention the fact that the section 8 housing authority are to be inspecting the apt on wed. If i cancel, then I might not be able to get them to inspect the other place until friday. I need IF all the paperwork gets done in time. They only go out to this city once a month in most circumstances. Also the border apt. doesn't have much closet space to speak of but the place is very nice plus it's a 2 bdrm with a shared garage. not a good setting for the dog to take her dumps unlike the apt in the big city with plenty of places for her to roam.

i would feel kind of bad if i were to change my mind on everybody but that's the way it goes. it's my move and i'm the one who will be living with my decision not them. My drive to work will not be an issue in either case. about the same distance from either apt.

see how the not married life can also drive one nuts? if i had a wife we would both discuss all issues and i wouldn't be so messed up. well, I prayed some and hope the Lord will bless those of you. The thought came to my mind this afternoon to check with the local phone and ISP which i'm on now if they have hig speed internet at the address at the border apt. i was totally shocked and surprised when they told it no service at this address. It's a small town and i hadn't check with them on account that I was gonna live just a few blocks away from this place last year and they had service there. This place is new and it's right down town but the ph. rep said it doesn't 'qualify' whatever that means, he couldn't tell me.

so, that seals the deal for me and i'm heading to Bellingham, WA on Wed. can't wait :) i can always find a pt job in this town and that would pay for my gas money for fishing. 25 hrs a week or 20 would be good that way my dog won't have to be cooped up inside 8 hrs a day. If i get this forklift job starting in June, i'll be working long hours.

    Hi grizzly900,
I think you should keep searching for apt near fishing area. You will definitely find apt of your dreams.
Meanwhile go for fishing once in a week with your dog. TV and computer won't entertain your dog.
