Default I "GAVE UP" an i Phone...

We're in the process of upgrading our cell phones. My son has been pushing hard for me to get an iPhone. However, when push came to shove, the upgrade for a Samsung Sunburst was, well, FREE. So, to me, FREE sounds a WHOLE lot better than $199 !! Oh well, economics wins out every time, right?

Besides, the setup and all that for an iPhone is, from what I understand, quite a process. And, knowing my short temper, that wouldn't work too well for me...........

I don't know about that, my son still has the first iPhone that was available, never any problems.

I"ll have to confess. I finally gave in and took over my son's old iphone 3G. Took awhile but, I've actually grown used to it. Plus, the young lady that takes care of us at the AT&T store told me, Mr Mike, you've GOT to upgrade thing thing to at least the 3GS. Told her, I can't see myself spending that kind of money. She said she'll let me have one to upgrage my ole' 3G phone for $29.95. Well, how could I trun her down??? This little lady has been such a blessing for me and my wife. And, since she works mostly on commission, I had to do it for her.

So, I'm sold on my iphone and probably use it more than I should. OH well.....

I have an iPhone 4s and the technology is amazing. I downloaded an app yesterday that checks my heart rate by putting my finger over the camera. I also have the Bible on it. All technology is a two edged sword, some use it for evil but it can also be used for good.

My son gave me my I-phone last year. I use virsen because it works best at VA. Did have T-moblie on my old phone for years but had to go outside the VA to make calls. My son set it up and gave it to me with all my contacts and even my games from my I-pad. He is a good son.

I have two tin cans and a long string. And if I need to communicate over a long distance I have the makings of a fire and some green grass to make smoke. Now, where's my blanket?

My mother got an I-Phone, and really hates it. I have tried using it, and I hate it too. I don't like the way it's designed, and the whole touch keypad bit. I'll stick with my blackberry, thank you.

You're lucky: Meg makes me use a set of animal-skin drums. My arms are still aching from "phoning" you last night bro!
