I sure hope so. I play em and restore them. Specializing in American model Kramers from the 80's. I just picked up a beautiful pair of Kramer Ferringtons as a matter of fact.
Here's mine......post yours!

nice guitars !! I always wanted a Kramer Nightswan but never got one...I have a USA Fender Strat and an ESP M-II that get most of my playing time these days. I have an Ibanez JS1200 that I will be selling soon as I just don't play it anymore....Those Kramers had some great neck profiles on them though....I see the Dokken "back for the attack" poster on the wall also...yep, after hearing Lynch years ago, I decided I had to play guitar ha ha...and many years later i'm here and still wishing I was decent at guitar...but I like trying anyway !!!
You got some nice axes there, bro.Looks like you're really into Kramers.
I know I'm not a man, but I HAD to respond. :)
I have played guitar since I was 11 (I'm 41 now). I haven't played in the last 5 years, though, due to arthritis and other illness. I have a nice 1972 Gibson SG Custom with gold pickups and hardware. Think Angus Young. Neck through body. Might have been white once, now is black. Picked it up for $300 bucks from a guy I played with once. I think it's worth anywhere from $1800-2400. The guitar shop owner I talked to isn't quite sure. I did have to put about $140 worth of work into it, as the machine heads were loose and the neck was kinda off. Had to constantly re-tune. Now it's sweet.
Hubby bought me a Gibson Les Paul about 12 years ago, before we got married. What a guy! What a dating gift, huh? I also own an electric made by a local (looks very much like your blue Kramer electric), a Seagull acoustic, and I traded in my Kramer Focus 3000 with original Floyd Rose locking trem. Kinda regretting it ever since. Hubby has a Martin acoustic, a Fender electric, and a Washburn 12 string. He's more of a finger picker. I'm a hardcore power chord player. My fingers are too stumpy to play lead. God didn't bless me with monkey fingers. lol.
Ok, sorry to violate the man cave, but I had to. :)

It's a sweet one. First one I've seen with a maple board. I don't know if I'd switch out the JB. I mean if it were me anyway. The duncan distortion is a good pick up, but if you play any leads at all, the distortion doesn't have the clarity for it. It's great for heavy distorted riffs. Thats just me though. I had one in a maple bodied Jackson V I had. With the loss of high end, I just went all the way and put EMGs in it. You might love it though.
I'm wanting to get started building a rack system, but have no idea where to start. I've got a good cabinet since my Marshall head blew, but don't know what to look at or where to go from here.
I really don't know. I've got a Marshall cab with 4 12 in Celestions in it right now. I assume I need some kind of power amp or something. And some thing for effects. I really have no idea. I look at your pic and like it, but it's all a bunch of stuff I know nothing about. I have no idea where to start.
well you have great celestion loaded cab...so...you need a preamp and poweramp..you can either buy an effects processor or use pedals for your effects....i recommend a power conditioner like the furman unit also to void out electrical hum and protect against voltage spikes etc....basically a glorified surge protector...i know a good bit about rack gear (even pieces i've never owned)...so what sounds/tones are you looking for and what is your price range...you can send me a private message on the price range if you want.....but let me know what tones you are seeking and i can suggest some stuff for you and help find you good deals![]()
Wow! The equipment you have blows me away! I only have a 70's era Laney tube head perched atop a cabinet built for me by a friend a long time ago. He put two 12 inch McKenzie's with copper coils, and a monster strong grill in front of each one. The only rackmount piece I have is an old Yamaha spx-50d (I'm showing my age!), plus an assortment of pedals. DOD distortion (which I love) and the latest I got is a Danelectro Fab Tone. I also have an old flange (is that what it's called? Can't remember). I love the effect it gives off. I also have a cabinet with 2 Gallion Krueger's that a friend gave me. I sold a cabinet that had 2 twelve inch Celestion Sidewinders. I have regretted that ever since. lol. I've always wanted a killer rackmount system, but they were always out of my reach financially. Now I'm at the place in life where I can afford it all, but I don't have a band anymore. Bummer.![]()

well the only rack equipment i now own is in the picture with my amp head/cab and pedals....the last pic i posted that is all rack: most of the stuff is sold. I kept the Furman power conditioner, Behringer Tuner, DOD Eq, and added a TC Electronic G Major effects processor that you see in the first pic. I enjoy playing but I really don't have much time anymore. My wife and I have a 3 year old and a 6 month old. Both boys. The only time i had to play was late at night. Now that we moved our baby in his own room (which is next to my guitar room)...it wakes him up...so i may be selling most of my stuff as I can't stand looking at it and not being able to play much if any...However, not being able to play much allows me more time to read God's word and study Bible prophecy....so maybe there is a reason why my guitar playing has been shut down. God is priority and deserves my utmost attention anyway. No one can argue with that !!!
Nope, no argument from me. :) My stuff mostly lays in the closet and basement, mouldering and gathering dust. I often think I should just sell it all off. I mean, I see little chance in being in a band again, or even noodling around with hubby. He's working so much, he doesn't have time for me most of the time, let alone playing guitar. I could use the extra cash it would bring.............
