Default How to share the gospel

hey I was wondering how does one eactly share the gospel?

Edwards, Wesley, and Whitfield all said so many converted in the great awakening because they preached sin, and I FIRMLY believe that. Today, we can't avoid teaching sin obviously, but I have heard it does and can turn people away...so I am really confused...

We can't, of course, be arrogant as we are sinners ourselves, but how do we hang around people who need Jesus like the way he did. Jesus hung around all the 'so called outcasts' of society. Is it because he didn't judge?

Does anyone understand this? I am trying to get my point across in the fewest possible words without making it more confusing...

It is the Holy Spirit that convicts a person of sin. Sinners know they are. It is the self-righteous who do not. Simply speaking about sin—its reality and it's consequences—showing the righteous judgment of God against those who are not "holy as He is holy" and the absolute futility of trying to escape ... indeed the utter impossibility of being right with God is usually enough to cause the humble heart to tremble. And then when the good news that "what is impossible with man is possible with God" (Matthew 19:26; Mark 10:27; Luke 18:27) the relief and the willingness to avail themselves of that free gift is incredible!

The "secret" (if you can call it that) is to not judge the person (as you have correctly surmised), but rather to share the truth of God's righteousness that prompts His justice and also His mercy. Once people understand that they can see that it is foolish to try any other means of slavation than the one God Himself has provided.

I hope this helps a little.
