Usama Dakdok was born in Egypt and is the son of a Baptist pastor. He became a Christian at age 11 while learning about Islam in school because it was a mandatory subject. He went on to study Islamic law in college. He came to the U.S. in 1992 and in 2001 founded The Straight Way of Grace Ministry of which he is president.

On this edition of Crosstalk, Usama presents a fast paced series of points concerning Islam that are based on two main points:

(1)There is no such thing as moderate Islam.
(2)The Koran is filled with violence and hate.

It’s from these two points that Usama concludes that there is no such thing as moderate Muslims and Islam is only a religion of peace when Muslims don’t have the upper hand.

Why is the attempt to build a mosque near the site of the 9-11 tragedy so controversial? How can a religion that advocates the death of those who don’t believe the same way be given constitutional protection? Does the Allah of the Koran have anything in common with the Satan of the Bible? Is the Koran open for interpretation?

These and many more interesting questions are answered as Usama Dakdok removes the politically correct clutter to reveal the true personality of Islam.
