The Evangelism Tract I Made
JESUS GIVES ETERNAL LIFE
Eternity never ever ends, so it is of dire importance that you know God’s plan for you. Using clear examples in scripture, I want to share the Good News with you! First I’ll start with the bad news. We are all sinners, and the punishment for sin is death. ‘All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God’ (Rom 3:23) ‘For the wages of sin is death’ (Rom 6:23) ‘If anyone’s name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire’ (Rev 20:15) Now I promise to get to the good news in a second but first, how does God describe the lake of fire? ‘When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a great furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss’ (Rev 9:2) Now I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t want to spend ten seconds in there, never mind all eternity. There is blessed, wonderful, glorious Good News! Jesus Christ, the Son of God has defeated sin and death. ‘When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having cancelled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; He took it away, nailing it to the cross’ (Colossians 2:13) Jesus took all the punishment for your sin. He led a perfect sinless life then took our sin upon Himself. ‘For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every was, just as we are – yet was without sin’ (Heb 4:15) ‘But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed’ (Isaiah 53:5) When Jesus died on the cross our sins died with Him. Three days later He rose from the dead, so now those who believe in Him are dead to their old sinful life and alive in Jesus Christ. ‘Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over Him. The death He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life He lives He lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus’ (Rom 6:11) This is the way – the only way – to be saved. ‘Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under Heaven given to men by which we must be saved’ (Acts 4:12) So how are we saved... through FAITH IN JESUS! ‘That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved’ (Rom 10:8) Believe in Jesus and ask Him to save you. ‘For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord’ (Rom 6:23) Jesus says: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades” (Rev 1:18) I pray that you will accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. He loves you so much that he came to earth to die in your place. Here is one last scripture for you. ‘For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son (John 3:17)

I am trying to figure out how I want to do this so I can get it out. I might get some cards from the office supply store and print it on cards to give out.
