I was the Governor who washed my hands clean of Him
I was the man who cried "let his blood be upon us and our children!"
I was the soldier who flayed Him with the whip until His back was in shreds
I was the guard who plucked off part of His beard
I was the soldier who rammed the crown of thorns upon His bruised forehead
I was the common person who jeered Him as He staggered by, failing under the weight of the beam
I was the soldier who wrenched His arm into place and held it down
I was the soldier who pierced His hands and feet with cruel Iron spikes
I was one of the crowd who said "He saved others, now let him save himself!"
I was the thief who mocked Him
I was the guard who pierced His side

I was the skeptic who doubted His resurrection
I was the gnostic who wrote fables about Jesus, and claimed them to be a "gospel"
I was the spectator who cheered in the stands when a christian was tortured to death so horribly
I was the atheist who said none of this happened, and there was no God
I was the self-righteous fool who thought his good deeds could gain him entry into heaven
I am the sinner who continually sins, and offends the Lord
I killed my creator.
Am I a Good Person?
I am a God-hater
An Idolater
A Blasphemer
A Sabbath-breaker
A Parent-hater
A Murderer
An Adulterer
A Thief
A Liar
A Coveter
There is none righteous, no, not one.
I killed Christ; my sin sent him to the Cross.
Am I a Good Person?
NO.
I murdered my Creator.
My hands are stained with the blood of an innocent man
And for my sins, I deserve to burn in Hell
Abba, forgive me .
