how to have a clean heart

For Christians.
having a clean heart,
and mind,
is paramount to witness.
Its like a man all dressed up but covered in mud saying to another person
i know where you can get a bath for free... huh.?

But how can you have a clean heart?

well as much as you think your better than a mere computer, and you are,
there are certain parallels that can be drawn.

Lets say you assess porn or how to make bombs or drug cropping etc etc on the WWW.
and then later your sorry and you run a 'clean up my computer' program.

As a person you can just forget about it, mentally that you did it or went there,
you can employ various techniques, hypnotism etc,
but thats like 'windows' the operating system on your computer doing
a routine clean of itself, you just can't be sure it's done a complete job
of cleaning up itself.
Your computer needs its operator,
who knows the computer inside and out.
The operator outside outside of itself.

And He is ......The Holy Spirit.

not only can the Holy Spirit delete, defrag and clean up,
he can reorder, reorganise and install new programs.
But you gotta ask Him.

Do you want a clean heart, today.? now?

As for witnessing, i'm an idiot and scared, i usually don't
unless...
i use the master communicator.

He can set up the circumstances,
give me the words,
and He can even follow thru.

So don't sweat it,
God loves YOU and wants to help YOU.

Not a bad analogy, Thallon. I like the similarities of an operating system and the Holy Spirit. In fact, I leave everything up to the Holy Spirit. I won't be groomed by the Holy Spirit for the identical task you will be, and I will likely commit sins you will not. The question is the heart, desire, and will of the individual.

I am amazed, but understand, I have already been forgiven for every mistake I will make in this life! I am so grateful, I prefer to help wherever needed, rather than tend to earthly desires. It's a natural thing, but I fail just like everybody else. And I have the confidence in God's promise of cleansing blood, to erase my mistakes. That's a great thing to understand.
