    ! Queens jubilee.

In uk at present everyone or should I say a lot of people are celebrating the queens jubilee which is currently going on the river thames which includes the queen sailing on the river thames along with about 1,000 other boats, street parties are going on galore, union jacks all over the place, very nationalistic is today, myself couldnt care less but thought I would put in on here anyway.

Evidently, it's a big event here too...at least according to Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC.

Yeah. Apparently in their dreams only.

Only thing I've heard around here is a complaint that spring squirrel season is too short.

Squirrel season? Where do you live? If there were such a thing as squirrel season in Texas people would be shooting them on the streets.

To honor the queen, Big Ben is to be renamed as Elizabeth's Tower.

Kentucky. Spring squirrel season runs from May 19-June 15. Fall season starts in August. Too hot to hunt 'em then and you run into a ton of spider webs on the stalk! lol

I can't believe you don't have a squirrel season in Texas. What in the world do you eat for Sunday dinner??

From what I could see, it is likely armadillos. They are free for the taking, all over every highway!

    Squirrel Seasons and Bag Limits

The following counties have open season for squirrel Oct. 1, 2012-Feb. 3, 2013
May 1-31, 2013, with a daily bag limit of 10 squirrels.
(many, many counties deleted due to the fact that it really doesn't matter)

The following counties have No closed season for squirrel, with a daily bag limit of 10 squirrels.
(many, many counties deleted due to the fact that it really doesn't matter)

The following counties have no open season for squirrel.
(many, many counties deleted due to the fact that it really doesn't matter)

The remainder of the state has no closed season, no bag limit.
(my county listed under this regulation, or should I say lack of regulation)

How little I knew. We'll never starve again.

BTW, I have a friend that married a British man about a year ago. They have on their cowboy boots and are having a big BBQ. When you live in TX celebrate the Queen's jubilee like a Texan.

I don't think PJ will give him up. However I think we may be able to arrange for you to get this one:

Matt, for such a sweet guy, you have a mean streak in you. I see an underlying dry wit emerging from you.
