    Default USA: next ten years

IF these are the last days,
then i think Obama will be part of the playout of revelation events.
Hes good for a second term taking him from 2012 to 2016,

The united states is moving away from singular involvement to group UN involvement,
i think that will continue and the US will grow weaker.

economically most of the states in america will not recover and the USA as you know it now
    is on borrowed time.
Obama might be your last president but i think he will be succeeded by a republican who will
pursue a more isolationist USA and obama step into a UN president job...maybe..
In any event i expect to see the Antichrist arise in the middle east within Ten years, so obama
might get a third term on US economic meltdown.

The antichrist will go to war [it says so in revelation] and be forced to sign a 7 year peace deal.
    who would make him?
    the USA/UN of course.

If the world economy falls over, which i think it will,
the USA may undergo a era of rapid civil insurrection the worst since the civil war.
USA could become, actually it will, become a dictatorship. because how could a mass persecution arise
or enforcement of the mark of the beast unless the US agrees to it.?

You give Obama more credit than people in the US. Obama may apear to be something, but mostly he is a puppet. He seems to not be able to think for himself. He takes forever to make a decision, his lies seem to catch up with him, it's almost as if something happens, Obama doesn't say anything for a while, then comes up with something dumb to say. I really think that Obama is a coverman for someone else. To me he is so ridicules I cannot even listen to the man speak.

Who says this planet, let alone this nation, has 10 years left?

I think we believers have mere months left, and our nation? Could be less than that.

i think also the confilict with Libya is a template for what will happen to israel.
There will be conflict in Israel and nato will invade to bring peace between the palestians backed by the antichrist and the jews. The antichrist might even invade and be forced out by the 7 year peace deal.
Remember israel has nukes and modern weapons so it will take a good force to invade and occupy.

I agree. I feel like the spirit is telling me daily, get ready. In all my life I have never felt like the time was right, that is until the last 6 months. I keep telling myself that it could be a few more years but I certainly don't "feel" like it. I have no feeling in my heart or mind that it could go ten years. The only thing I see that could make it last longer is those who are praying for the healing of our nation. They are blocking, BLOCKING I say! I'm praying for the rapture.

With all this stagflation, plus a 63% disapproval of Libyan intervention...he won't get another term. No one has been reelected with 8% or over unemployment...so I am not sure where the thread is going

Are you being serious or is your humor just too clever for me? Another question, would you be willing to tell me/us what year you became a Christian?
Consider the words of Omar M. Ahmad, founder of CAIR: "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant." ... "The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America , and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth."

1971 for me. Wow that is close. I just wanted say aren't we both glad the Rapture didn't happen in 1970 (convenient our new-birthdays are so close!)

It just hurts my heart sometimes when we seem so self-absorbed that we do not grieve for the lost. I'm a MARANANTHA(!) kind of believer, but I don't want to see the drawbridge raised before the Fullness of the Gentiles is brought in and the Father says "Son, go get her"!

One of my prayer requests lately is for the Father to bring the rest of those in and rapture us home. It is sad that there will be so many left here but it is my honest opinion that unless the rapture happens, I have family that won't wake up before they die. My mother is 72 and a mormon. If she were to see two of her kids and x husband disappear then maybe she will put two and two together. I also have a sister that does not know if she believes in God anymore. If she sees two siblings and her father disappear then maybe she will wake up.

I also pray that the rapture happens soon because I am just fed up with the filth that is everywhere. The hate and language that is just in every bit of our society. We can't go anywhere where there isn't someone who feels it is their privilege to spout off some God or Jesus or anything else hate rant filled with any and every foul word known to man. People are lying and stealing like it is a normal thing.

We are told what the end times will look like and from my point of view, it's here and I don't think there is any going back. One of the biggest things on my mind is what does "near" mean to Jesus? Because we have "begun" to see these things.

As I understand it, only the Father knows.

Taking the list Jesus spoke to His Hebrew disciples:
Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered them, "See that no one leads you astray. (2Tim 2:15 and 2Tim 3:16-17)
Mat 24:5 For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and they will lead many astray.
Mat 24:6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.
Mat 24:7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
Mat 24:8 All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.
Mat 24:9 "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake.
Mat 24:10 And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.
Mat 24:11 And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.
Mat 24:12 And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.

Right now I'd rank famine (the food security issue) as the #1 big deal that will gain prominence in and dominate the news.
At #2 I’d say the chaos in the Middle East / North Africa has gaining recognition with its own acronym "MENA" as a recent development - and it is in the focal point region of importance. This may amplify the significance of “military adventurism” in regard of the “wars and rumors thereof”.
As much as I follow earthquakes at a hobby level, and despite the Japan 9.0, I don’t see earthquakes intensity or frequency as extraordinary over the last two decades.

As I went through this little exercise with these eight verses I honestly believe we may be around for quite a while as the Father sets the “end-times table”.

Now I'll put on my hard-hat as the bricks come in.

Be aware, since 1948 (or 1967 if your eye is on control of Jerusalem) God's time-clock (Israel) tells us we should give our all, since no prophetic event stands in the way of God the Father saying to God the Son: "Go get your Bride!"

And I'm thankful the Lord didn't come in 1988 as some were predicting, as I didn't become a believer until 1990. I would love to go home and see Jesus face to face, but my heart breaks for those who are still lost. I'm just so grateful that our Lord is patient and not willing for any to be lost.

Praying that the rest of the fold will come to Christ quickly!

    Great heart and good perspective!

a nation becomes radicallized by internal forces and it's moral attitudes.
    Young people now,
who will be at their politcal peak in the next ten years,
no longer have taboo's thanks to the internet.
sex is a free for all. death is just a game.
if death is just a game now, in the future it will become an uncomfortable reality for american society,
not a future hundreds of years away, ten years away.
YOU, christian, are living in a quickly falling immoral society.
    So what will TURN society?
Two major earthquakes? three major hurricanes,? shut down of the american government?
    a second GFC?
Events are going to conspire to flip your nation on its head?
still its hard to imagine USA becoming worse than hitlers germany.

Wait until the Antichrist begins persecuting Christians in the middle of the Tribulation....

while the antichrist is going to rule the earth,
it is babylon the great which has more scripture devoted to it.
    the *****/babylon rides the beast,
the ten nations and the beast hate the *****/babylon....Its unlikely they would hate another moslem nation, and the ten are revived roman empire so its not europe,
and russia is probably an ally [gog]
so , in my opinion, the ***** is USA/UN NEWYORK, not europe and the roman catholic church.
Babylon receives more attention than the beast and false prophet.
I think the UN/USA will agree to the extermination of Christians and jews as a condition of peace, the 7 year peace deal,
with the Beast, or else its all out nuclear war.
It seems inconceivable to my mind that the greatest christian country on earth
could end up being the one to suffer the biggest persecution of all time.
