    Default Cascading, multiplying grey blocks

Cascading, multiplying grey blocks, located above and below the text block area of the RF threads, causing the page to scroll down as they multiply to infinity. Seems to be triggered by mousewheel scrolling. Only way to stop them is to reload the thread. I think it started with one of the recent upgrades. Anyone else get this, or is it a peculiar foible of my cranky neanderthal computer?

    I FOUND THE PROBLEM!!!!

It is the scroll-box in each post. That is a feature that came with the "upgrade" to the forum software, not that the old format had anything wrong with it.

Things go wrong when I scroll the page up so as to read further down...my browser and it's widgets, gadgets, settings and whatnots stumble over this second scroll-within-a-scroll feature, and instead of that grey buffer zone smoothing the scrolling and disappearing once the page has settled, it starts to add buffer zones one after the other.

The problem can be fixed thus:

    1. When the "grey cascade of death" begins, either scroll in the opposite direction, or reload the page. (easiest, when it works...reloading is a pain and eats up my limited download budget and with all my tabs makes the RAM-Hamster run himself close to cardiac-arrest )

    or

    2. Disable the smooth-scroll function, thereby going back to choppy page movement, eyestrain, mouse-pounding, lost reading-place in the text, and rude and unedifying language or the temptation thereunto. (not gunna happen, give me smooth scroll or give me death!)

    or

    3. The scroll-in-a-scroll feature gets disabled from the forum software, as I can't see the need for it anyway. How likely this is, is not determined. Probability somewhere between "buckley's" and "none". Still waiting on info how to post non-YOUTUBE videos....
