As offered above, ran the HiJack progarm and here's what the report stated:

Thanks in advance for any help with what may be problem areas... To be truthful, I have no idea what all this is.

Mike, as Buzz says your system looks clean. (He's the expert.) However I did notice that you have the MyWeb Search toolbar on your computer. That's the line that reads "03 Toolbar: (no name) - {07B18EA9-A523-4961-B6BB-170DE4475CCA} "

This is a form of spyware and you might want to get rid of it. The AntiSpyware site gives this information about it:

MyWebSearch is a advertising Browser Helper Object. It consists of an add-on to Internet explorer that tracks the text users put into a search field. Based on that text, MyWebSearch displays a series of results run through Ask.com.

The BHO hijacks a user's homepage temporarily, changing it to MyWebSearch.com, a portal page that hosts the search field. Though this can be changed back, it still constitutes an aggressive advertising practice. MyWebSearch can also manifest as a voluntarily downloaded toolbar that displays links to purportedly useful service and also hosts an Ask.com search field.

MyWebSearch, along with its similarly titled companion app., MyTotalSearch, was published by Ask.com when it was still called AskJeeves.com. The search field in the BHO do not engage in any direct monitoring per se. Instead, it simply funnels more users to Ask.com, thereby increasing the likelihood that a user will click on a sponsored link and create revenue.
MyWebSearch does absolutely nothing useful that Google and Yahoo don't. (In fact, I don't even like the Yahoo toolbar!)

Also I notice you are running both Windows Defender and the full McAfee suite. I would suggest that running both is unnecessary since McAfee includes a decent antispyware module and running both puts unneeded load on your system. Personally I would recommend removing Defender. What do you think, Buzz?
