We saw this TV News Headline "Shocking News about Catholic Priest's secret!"

My hubby and I tuned into the TV News as usual and we were wondering what the shocking news was all about.

Apparently a Brisbane (Australia in the state of Queensland) Catholic Priest has been asked to leave the pulpit after revealing his secret of over a year. He had confessed to his congregation last Sunday that he married (a woman) last year and has broken his vow of celibacy.

You know the way the New Story was done you'd think this guy had been doing something totally immoral. Like it's against God's Word or some great SIN!!!!!

Like a man marrying a woman is some sort of dirty secret you have to keep hidden?

At least the Priest confessed to his secret in the hope the Catholic Church would change its stance on celibacy. This was a big enough story for it to be repeated the following night as an in depth interview on one of our A Current Affairs programs.

Unfortunately there is no internet News item I can find on the Catholic Priest married scandal.

However I wanted to just share it because it really got me so angry that it was made out that the Catholic Priest had SINNED against God by what he had done. Wow being married to a woman is a big Catholic scandolous No! NO! and this Priest was apologising for it to his congregation and his Church.

The Priest didn't even offer the fact the in the Bible the Apostle Paul encouraged men to get married if they had sexual needs. He just said that some Catholic Priests were not able to meet the challenge of Celibacy.

A Catholic priest from Glenmore Park claims many priests lead a double life as he revealed his own clandestine marriage, a 7News exclusive has exposed.

Father Kevin Lee, a priest for 20 years, has admitted to 7News that he has found love and wedded.

In a controversial claim, Lee says that many Catholic priests pursue relationships and argues compulsory celibacy within the faith should be reconsidered.

Uhmm.....may be it should read: " Roman Catholic Priest,having finally realized his sin in becoming a Roman Catholic Priest,repents,asks The Lord Jesus to save him,gets saved by His Grace and he gets married too!" wow that would be GREAT NEWS!

Yes it would have been great if that is what the Priest realised here but unfortunately he did not; instead he wants the RC to accept married Priests and continue on with his RC faith.

May God open this Priest's eyes to His Word and Truth and may he find salvation in Jesus Christ, amen.
