Default Catholicism & Islam: Ties That Bind

The above title became a source of controversy when I used it for a talk given at a recent prophecy conference. What I found curious about the commotion was that it came from Catholics (and some evangelicals) who had yet to hear my presentation. Furthermore, the title reflects the hope and prayers of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue. Rome has been tilling this "common ground" with Islam for decades, as evidenced by the 1994 Vatican publication, Recognize the Spiritual Bonds Which Unite Us: 16 Years of Christian-Muslim Dialogue . Why, therefore, would anyone be upset by my simply repeating what the Roman Catholic Church very much desires?

Actually, the real controversy stems from confusion created by the Church of Rome herself. In her zeal to be the spiritual voice of the world's religions, she talks out of both sides of her ecumenical mouth. Regarding her relationship to Islam, not only has she made to those of the Muslim faith some theological overtures which contradict Christian orthodoxy, but even worse, there are ties between the two religions which go a lot deeper than most people realize. Let's first consider some commonalities between the two faiths.

Both Catholicism and Islam love to behead people. From the Roman Catholic drug lords of Mexico to the Bosnian Moslems whom beheaded Serbian prisoners of war these Chislamites practice the same form of execution which will take place during the Great Tribulation. (Revelation 20:4) Witnessing before the Rapture of the Church is the only way to save people who come to believe from this future hell as time is running out.

2 John 1:5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

2 John 1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

Catechism of the Catholic Church written by Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, the present German pope Benedict XVI states on page 223 (841 article)...these profess to hold the faith of Abraham (the Moslems) and together with us they adore the one god.

Page 223 (843 article) The Roman Catholic church recognizes other religions that search among the shadow and images... for god who is unknown...The church considers all goodness and truth found in these religions...

Page 224 (846 article)........The only way to salvation and being saved is through the Roman Catholic Church...those cannot be saved who knowing the Catholic church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter or remain in it.

POPE BENEDICT PAGE 224 IS SAYING THOSE OUTSIDE THE ROMAN CATHOLIC RELIGION ARE CURSED. THIS IS SUPPORTING A GLOBAL ONE WORLD RELIGION AT THE SAME TIME SETTING UP A FUTURE PERSECUTION OF THOSE WHO DON'T BELIEVE IN THE CHURCH OF ROME.

POPE BENEDICT is A FALSE PROPHET just like ALL THE POPES before him were and I wouldn't trust him in ANYTHING concerning spritual matters,
He needs to repent and turn to Jesus otherwise will burn in hell like his muslim friends.

It's not about where you go to church, it's about where you place your faith. Repent and place your trust in Jesus alone for your salvation, not in man made church doctrine and traditions.
Placing your faith in baptism, communion, the saints, Mary, or anything other than Christ and Him crucified to save you is misplaced, and will lead to eternal damnation.
There is one mediator between God and man, and that is the Lord Jesus Christ, not your local parish priest, the pope, Mary, or anyone else. We are saved by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus on the cross, we can't add anything more to that. When Jesus said "It is finished" he meant the price was paid in full and nothing else is required.
Set a guard over my mouth, O Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips. Let not my heart be drawn to what is evil, to take part in wicked deeds with men who are evildoers; let me not eat of their delicacies.
    Psalm 141:3-4

As a 'recovering catholic', I would say that every word that followerofjesus wrote is spot on. If you place your faith in the finished work of Jesus, He will lead you to the church He wants you to be in.
Ephesians 5:18 (New King James Version)

18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,

I Come To The Garden Alone Hymn

And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
    And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
    None other has ever known.

My friend, there is a very good church in Split. I know that it's a little over 2-1/2 hours from Medjugorje to Split, but the pastor there may be able to tell you of a good Bible-believing, Truth-preaching, Holy Spirit-filled church closer to you. Here is his contact information:

    Calvary Chapel of Split
    Rendiceva 11
    Split, - 21000
    Phone: 385-021-373-354
    Email: timwarholic@gmail.com

I will also send you a copy of this via private message.
