Earlier this week, I went by the Dealership my youngest son is working at as a newly hired on Sales person. While there he wanted to show me around and see some of the vehicles. Later at home, I told my wife how "old" I felt seeing some of the new things available in cars these days. Some of the electronics in these vehicles just, well, made me feel old!
I remembered a time in the past I had said this to my father. We were having a cookout over at Mom and Dad's house, had been a rather rough week at work and seeing all the kids running around and having fun, I mentioned to my Dad I feel old. He mentioned, do ya? Yep, was all I said. He answered back and said, when the day comes and you see all your children have reached the age of qualifying for AARP, THEN tell me how "old" you feel. Had to admit, he had a point...

and it all feels like I'm getting old. Though I do remember giving folks older than me grief for *gasp* being older than me.
My oldest sibling is 12 years older than me. THAT is weird to think of him becoming 52 this year. And hey, I'm the "baby" of the family being the youngest of 5 children. Sigh, the journey has been fun though.
