    Praise - Tell Me This Won’t Happen To Us -

    Three sisters, ages 92, 94 and 96, live in a house together. One night the 96-year-old draws a bath. She puts her foot in and pauses. She yells to the other sisters, 'Was I getting in or out of the bath?' The 94-year-old yells back, 'I don't know. I'll come up and see.' She starts up the stairs and pauses, 'Was I going up the stairs or down? The 92-year-old is sitting at the kitchen table having tea listening to her sisters; she shakes her head and says, 'I sure hope I never get that forgetful, knock on wood.' She then yells, 'I'll come up and help both of you as soon as I see who's at the door'

    Three retirees, each with a hearing loss, were playing golf one fine March day. One remarked to the other, “Windy, isn't it?” “No,” the second man replied, “it's Thursday.”And the third man chimed in, “So am I. Let's go get a drink.”

    Two elderly ladies had been friends for many decades. Over the years, they had shared all kinds of activities and adventures. Lately, their activities had been limited to meeting a few times a week to play cards. One day, they were playing cards when one looked at the other and said, “Now don't get mad at me. I know we've been friends for a long time, but I just can't think of your name! I've thought and thought, but I can't remember it. Please tell me what your name is.” Her friend glared at her for at least three minutes. Finally she said, “How soon do you need to know?”

    Not sure how old you are, my fireproof brother, but I'm 38 and certainly don't expect to make retirement, let alone 90+, in this world. Thankfully, I have it on Good Authority we won't have age-related problems in the world to come.

    I'm going on 65 but feel like 45. Yep, I also have it on Good Authority we won't have any age problems in the world to come and that's a promise we can bank on 100%.

    Scary.. I'm 36 and I have those moments of forgetfulness more than I'd like to admit..

    I have learned to laugh at the truth when it touches my life. Learned it the hard way. Started when shoveling the cow do do out of the barn. A shovel full slopped back into my face and my bosses laughed at me. Took me 20 years to laugh at that one! Comes a little easier now.

    I'm so old I can't remember what I'm laughing about but something must have been funny.
    In my life, I'm the serious one but I need a little frivolity and DH always keeps me laughing. Thank you Lord for Mike!

    Not long ago my wife and I were getting ready to head out to the store. She asked me right quick," got your pocket note book?" I questioned her, "my notebook?" She just smiled and quietly said, "you know, your memory???" That's when I knew, age was starting to make it's advances in my life even more than I thought.

    I can relate to those jokes and some of the replies. You know your old when people say things like "When he was born the Dead Sea was only sick"
