We do pay for illegals. Whoever comes here illegally is an illegal and they are going to the hospital predominately, for emergencies and since the majority of hospitals can't turn away the doctors fix them up because they are called to do that, and they get nothing in return from them, so we have to pay their welfare.

In that sense yes we do, but that is the same for all with no insurance. Illegals get no direct assistance or welfare.

That is true but it is still a drain on the economy and adds to the national debt as an unanticipated expense.

True in not all, cases. I see where youre coming from, but there are instances they realize they could live off of welfare if they get pregnant and run across the border to have the baby. It would be a US citizen.

I don't so much have a problem with granting these people amnesty so long as they use English! the 1800s every single immigrant had to learn english and did so and assimilated into our society.

If they want to become citizens they can do it the way that is set up for emigrants to become US citizens. Not by sneaking across the border and having babies so they can stay because the baby is a citizen.

Years ago I read about a new president to Mexico who socked away $160 million in a Swiss bank account in the first 6 months of his term. That is one of the reasons that Mexico is still a third rate country. The leaders are more interested in what the country can do for them. Think of NAFTA. We lost all this industry to Mexico and it didn't help the Mexican people at all. The business moved from Mexico to China. Lionel train moved to Mexico and set up a factory. Then it moved back to the US because Mexico didn't really save them any money even with the cheap labor rate. Then after a couple of years they went to China.

Illegal do get SS now. "Casa De Marland" assist illegal for a few years and still does because of democratic governors. Maryland is a safe haven for illegals. Except for Frederick county where I live. The sheriff here proscecutes them under 487 g program. Md passed a bill this year to allow illegals in state tuition.
Illegals in Md DO get medical assistance at any emergency room in this state..
WHO pays those bills??? Why are are taxes so high? National debt today is 43 cents on the dollars.

Yeah! If we can cut them off, we'd be saving money right and left. I don't understand how liberals can not see this.
With more hispanics coming in, one this is pretty certain, at least I think, is that they are going to be more socially conservative, not fiscally maybe, but socially definitely.

It's easy to talk about cutting spending on things like Social Security and medicare when your not the one depending on them. What about those who are disabled? How would they live?

Who said anything about the ones who need it? There are far more frauds then you can believe. In socialist states like the UK there are children growing up with absolutely no ambition or career plans or even ideas because their parents are teaching them how to rely on the system. The most the parents have to think about is to come up with a way to break their leg or make it look like they need the welfare check, and they receive it without hesitation

I agree with you about frauds, there are many here in the U.S. also.
