    Default I am a political nut...BUT

    Are you guys as shocked and amazed as I am that the 2008 elction began the moment the polls closed on the 2006 election?!!!
    99% of the people I know have tuned the whole shenanigan completely out!

    Two years to go, $100 million estimated spent in just the primaries, THEN the real campaing begins.

    As political an animal as I am, I really could care less at this point about polls, whos up, whos down.

    Hey Mr. Mann--good to see you here! I used to be Momoftwo on RR. I agree. I am so zoned out by the campaigns so far. The only thing that interested me was when Fred Thompson said he'd look into running. Other than that, the only running I care about is to the bathroom. I could not care less at this point.

    Default What to do with the money...

    I just wish ALL that money that's being used to "beat" each other down and win AND lose an election could be used to actually do something that can change the world. As a fiscal guy, it makes no sense to me how much money that's WASTED on trying to win an election...especially when only 1 person wins!
    Luck is the intersection between opportunity and preparation. :smores:

    People such as myself who occasionally donate money to Politicians do not feel they are "wasting" that money.

    Elections have consequences, and by giving money, I influence what those consequences are likely to be..
    or at least that's the theory..
