did you hear on the news there were about 30,000 plus overcrowding in Californian jails
and the supreme court has ordered them to clear them out.
this is a reflection of Lawlessness,
but also a reflection of too many laws.
example: state governments like to raise money by speeding fines... sure sure its all about safety
and the road toll,
i don't buy it. fix the roads, we know how to drive safely.
when you put radar traps out all we do is take our eyes off the road and look out for radars.
but back to my point,
suppose you fine say 50,000 people, then ten thousand lose their jobs and can't pay anymore,
of course you turn them into crims. They can't pay a stupid fine and so they become criminals.
When everybody is making money they can pay all the taxes and fines and penalties you can throw at them,
when things get tough... they don't pay...so you take them to court, waste more money, taxpayer money,
chasing them down and locking them up.
When things are tough i think they should just pull you over if you were speeding and make you sit there
for half an hour listening to a CD on road accidents...THEN LET YOU GO. NO FINE, ZERO, NIL, ZIP.
Same if you have a single drug and your not a pusher, just make you sit somewhere and listen
to the danger of drugs CD, no fine, no jail, no court.
We can't lock everybody up, its stupid.
