What a travesty. Unscrupulous men wreck the economy, morally poison the world, reward evil , promote the murder of the unborn, desert Israel, and railroad poor Mr & Mrs Hovind for acting in faith and actually paying employees.

May the Lord bless and keep them and their ministry and staff, and make that prison ministry a powerhouse similar to Paul's jail ministry. Prisoners and guards converted, the Word sent out, and Nero convicted and deprived of any excuse.

Hovind got in trouble with the Feds when he did not withhold payroll taxes from employees. I think his argument was "it wasn't his responsibility, but rather the employees' responsibilities".

Last I heard they gave him several years in a Federal pen and his wife is imprisoned for several years as well.

Of course, you can molest a child or even murder someone and get less time in prison. And then you'll probably never serve the full sentence. But mess with these thug's money and see what happens to you.

The old saw that goes "the buck stops here" comes to mind. They only got Al Capone on tax-evasion, nothing about murder and all the rest of the stuff he was proud of...
