the attitude of the people who appeared in this ad makes me cry .there are couples out there who are crying day and night to get a baby and these people are considering it a punishment.
the birth of a baby is a remainder that God still loves this world in spite of all its misdeeds.
praying these people realize that a baby is a precious gift from God and not a punishment.:prayer
I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord Philippians 3:8

so, Obama... if you are being "punished" with a baby... who is doing this, um, "punishing"?

Babies are NOT punishments. They are gifts who deserve protection, no matter what the circumstance is.

I have no words to describe the sick feeling I have from watching the attitudes on that video! If they dont want a baby then dont have sex and act like animals according to Gods word. Wow, wonder how they would feel if they were the aborted baby and their mom and dad said those things...just a hypothetical question. They wouldnt be here.

If babies were a punishment, then why doesn't it list anywhere in Revelation about the sky raining babies on the world in God's anger? :D

There used to be shotgun weddings. And married couples didn't believe that abortions was an option.

Lord this land needs revival. It needs to turn back to You as the giver of life, freedom, and forgiveness.

:iagree If a person does not want to have a baby then abstaining from sex is the logical conclusion! (Its reproductive "choice" at it's best, in my humble opinion)

I was a liberal in my teens. I became pregnant with my little girl when I was only 18. Times were hard, but I never thought I was being punished. I do wish I had waited to have her, but I wouldn't give her up for the world. How can someone see a baby as a punishment?

I think it's because deep down they know they did wrong by laying down and making a baby, when they weren't committed and married and ready for such a monumentous decision. So, in their minds it becomes a punishment. I know I didn't come across clear enough, but that's how I see it.

The attitudes today are a far cry from those held a century, or even a half-century ago. Convenience has taken over where conviction once held ground, and the permanent is being sacrificed on the altar of the immediate. Children's lives are now considered expendable in a day and age where choice is everything and consequences are sought to be negated, rather than dealt with.

    I'd say in this case--yes, it's punishment.
