i remember reading we are clothed is Christs righteousnous. Does that mean that all of us who are saved will automatically have a pair of slacks waiting for us in heaven haha?

and Jesus spoke of mansions he prepared for us. Is there anything that we need to be doing to gain these or do we automatically get them?

now i know we have to do work to recieve crowns but im not so sure about this other stuff

I honestly cannot answer your questions but personally, I am just thrilled to be counted among the citizens in heaven because of His love and sacrifice.

I am saying this very humbly and not from any other perspective.

Our focus should not be on what we get in heaven but simply on hearing "well done good and faithful servant"

If our motives are simply out of love rather than rewards - we are in His will.

Perception is the product of creativity. When God tells us we will be covered by the white (blameless) robe of Christ's sacrifice, then that's what will happen. IF your perception is we will actually wear robes of white (and I do) then that's exactly what you will see at judgement. We will automatically get everything God promises to redeemed believers. Can't wait, can you?

I agree with Ruth. I am so blessed to be a child of God and lamb of Jesus. I don't care WHAT kind of house I am given - anything will be better than what we have here on earth. There will be no tears or hurting - I'd sleep in the street for that!

yea definitely. we should do everything out of our love for Jesus rather than the rewards because hes deserving of it all. But Jesus did say store up things for youself in heaven where moth nore rust i believe destory.

Id just wanted to know this stuff to help with my witnessing. Our ulitmate goal is not just to get to heaven but what we do on earth with our time will reflect what kind of position we will have with Christ in the millienal reign and eternity.

Just thinking about these thing puts things in perspective as far as what we should be striving for each day and helps us not to get caught up in the worldy junk. We each have a race set out before us, whether we complete it or not is dependent upon ourselves.
