Fifty Shades Of Business - Forbes

While the eyes of the world are beginning to focus on London for the 2012 Olympic Games, my attention is diverted north toward the Lake District of England. This is where you’ll find the Damson Dene Hotel, a 40-bedroom retreat that has made the bold decision to replace the Gideon Bible in each room with the smash hit “Fifty Shades of Grey” by E. L. James.

    Fifty Shades of Grey
    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fifty Shades of Grey is a 2011 erotic novel by British author E. L. James. Set largely in Seattle, it is the first instalment in a trilogy that traces the deepening relationship between a college graduate, Anastasia Steele, and a young business magnate, Christian Grey. It is notable for its explicitly erotic scenes featuring elements of sexual practices involving bondage/discipline, dominance/submission, sadism/masochism (BDSM).

From God's Word to pornography. Like in the days of Noah and Sodom & Gomorrah. Not long now!

When I first heard of that book I went to Amazon to read the customer reviews. It was interesting that ALL the reviews (at that time) were either 5 stars or 1 star about equally divided and not even one 2, 3, or 4 star review.

Sadly though of the 1 star reviews I read most said they hated the book not because it's pornographic trash but because the story is so poorly written and just plain silly and boring that not even the sex scenes could hold their interest.
