    Thumbs up Perfect analogy.

Thought of the perfect analogy of the rapture, that is a person fills in pools coupon or a lottery ticket and then posts it. He then waits expectantly for the result. Now the foolish person spent loads of money and found he had not yet won, the wise person waited for the results and then celebrated the win after receiving the cheque. What do you think.

If you mean the lost gamble with their lives by spending all their time and resources on worldly pleasure but Christians have a sure ticket to heaven and all we have to do is wait, then I can see your point. But on the other hand, I have a hard time putting "Lottery" "Gambling" on the same level as the "Rapture." LOL!

I'm not sure about your analogy. Perhaps you could explain fully what you mean by it. I would say that the wise person doesn't gamble, already has the results, both current and future, and can celebrate them now.

P.S. Please don't take offense to my critique. "Perfect" analogies are sometimes a real challenge to come up with.

I was thinking more in terms of if you have a disbeleiving spouse or relative or someone close to you who gets fed up with hearing you talk about end times and all they think of it will not be here for years to come yet, why do you bother with all this etc. does this make more sense.
