Dispensational Truth book...

I just finished reading Clarence Larkin's book Dispensational Truth. It was interesting that's for sure. Has anyone else read it? What were your thoughts? I was quite shocked at the end where he claimed Job built the great pyramid!!!

Clarence Larkin is (well, was, he died in 1924) an excellent Bible teacher. Doctrinally he is right on target. His books are first-class Bible exposition.

Thanks Adrian, it was a very interesting book. He sure spent alot of time on his charts, but it makes things more understandable. It was interesting seeing how he was talking about the Jews being regathered, but yet they weren't when he wrote the book. And now here I am reading the book and see that this did indeed happen. I had really been wanting this book. When a friend from church was in an antique store and ran across this book in very good condition. He asked her how much she wanted for the book and the woman sad $2.00. So he bought it for me. Can you believe? Online the book is going for $59.00! I was elated!

Excellent resource!!! I was just looking at my copy yesterday to see where he placed the timing of Paradise being moved from in the earth to heaven. It seems there is a false teaching floating around that Christ ascended to heaven twice!!?? Once right after He arose from the grave, to cleanse heaven, then He came back to earth and arose again 10 days before Pentecost. (Heresy abounding)!!!
Dr. Larkin confirmed what I always believed from Scripture as well. Jesus was not a Yo-Yo dangling from a string!!
