Cross Hold On To Your Confidence

    Hebrews 10: 35-37 KJV

35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Dear sis, thank you so much for that timely message. I was struggling majorly with rebellion against God today. This message helps to remind me to just keep on trusting Him and not run out of His will or ahead of Him. Somehow someday our faith will be made sight. Someday we'll see Him and "life's trial will seem so small. So bravely run the race till we see Christ!" Honestly, hang on to Him. If nothing else just keep hanging on. It may seem like our faith and prayers will be answered never in a hundred years. But God is able to do exceedingly above what we ask or think. He answers in His way and His timing. I want with all of my heart that the Lord will answer my prayers for several friends. He knows that and He hears. And one day, either on this earth or in eternity in His presence it will be said that "God Heals" whether it be our bodies, our hearts, or other people's souls.
Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? Jeremiah 32:27

To Mary (LivnForChrist), great post, thanks for sharing.

To Holly, (KingsBloomingRose) it would seem that in these Final Hours, Christians are being afflicted as never before. Its turning up everywhere and in every imaginable form, up to and including losing loved ones who die in their sins etc. We have a local family whose police officer son was shot down for no reason and they are struggling hard with that one. Even in the comfort and joy of our marriage, Robert and I have suffered severe affliction last year, it was one thing after another. Through it all, we stand somehow, although we have cried out bitterly under pressure, both of us on different occasions. In fact, I almost gave up when I got turned down for disability. I have a doctor and a clinic full of nurses to tell them I can barely walk on bad days and thats not enough "evidence" for them... Everything I worked so hard for all my life is on the line because of this affliction.

Anyone can sing praises from a happy place, THATS a no-brainer!!! Faith isn't proven based on what goes right, faith is built on the shambles of everything that fell apart. That, dear sister, is the paradox of affliction, something they seem to so easily forget on Sunday pulpits... But the testimonies are there, written in tears and in blood, and polished as only the Holy Spirit can. Its the Holy Spirit, the Word and prayer that keeps us going, anything less would be merely self-interest, which is the hollow "fulfillment" of all pagan religions.

    I hope this makes sense...

    Psalm 73:28

28 But as for me, it is good to be near God.
    I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;
I will tell of all your deeds.

There are so many of us who are suffering just in our little family at Rapture Forums.
I know this message will reach out to those
Ya know, since we live in a fallen world, we need a Savior and so I can rejoice that through Jesus Christ I have security and Hope. I have a loving Father who supplies my needs and takes all my burdens and cares.
What an Awesome God we serve!

Amazing love! How can it be that Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?
