Here is the text in full of the Queen's 2011 Christmas message, which was recorded on 9 December - before her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, was treated in hospital for a blocked coronary artery.

Would that other world leaders, the President of the United States in particular, would give a message naming Christ as Savior and Lord!!!

Queen Elizabeth is not just Queen of England but the Supreme head of the Anglican Church.

It is her duty to be versed fully in knowledge of the Defender of the Anglican Faith.

Is she a Christian? She has demonstrated many times she is happy to participate in religious tradition of other faiths and pagan traditions in her role as an ambassador of England. It makes my hair stand on end some of the things she has allowed to either be performed over her or to her as part of a non-Christian pagan ritual.

The Queen is I'm sure assisted with her speeches and is happy to speak of Jesus as Saviour because she knows that is the Christian thing and appropriate for the occassion she is making a speech about.

I pray for the Queen. I hope she has truly received Jesus as her Lord and Saviour. I certainly am disappointed that she has not in her role and position been a regular representative of Christ and given the Gospel at every occassion she was able to do so. If the Queen felt giving the Gospel was too offensive she could have at least from time to time Testified to her Faith in Christ and maybe asked for those of other Faiths to not perform anything against her beliefs in her presence? I have not seen the Queen apply much in the way of Christiany when she has been going around performing her duties.

Know what you mean hannah, but I say the same about the archbishop of canterbury, I pray that he would be gods voice in england due to his position but he always sits on the fence and doesnt try and be contraversial, however he gives a tame sermon and the papers are on his back, ridiculous.

I doubt that holding a high position of international diplomacy is easily handled. For any world leader to confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh is so rare that I am personally thrilled at Queen Elizabeth's speech.
