Do you love Him?

I haven't posted in awhile and almost walked away from this forum but thanks to the encouraging words from a certain moderator i have stayed but been a lurker . The reason for my struggle with this site has been the "pointing of fingers" and trying to "point out the wrong" in various posts. after a lot of deep prayer and study I have come to this question that I feel that the Holy Spirit is asking all of us; do you love Jesus Christ? I know my first answer was of course! I'm here reading your Words aren't I? I'm praying aren't I? once again the question pops up; but do you love Him? and the answer again is yes! I am working in the church, I'm evangelizing, You know I love you. than the question is again but do you love Him, what i am saying is do you love Him like your first love? like when you first became a believer? yes we, as believers ,can have all of the book smarts, all the answers, and the correct theology, but do you love Him??lets get back to our first love.everything else will fall into place. just love Him. Thanks for letting me share.

Sean, I too am really glad you decided to stay. It would seem the Lord has a very important reason for you to remain involved in this forum ministry. I almost left myself for similar reasons; one choice I had to make was to not be driven off (from RF). About the same time I was considering that choice, the Lord sent a member to encourage me. I am glad I stayed, and again, I am glad you've decided to stay as well. God bless you deeply Sean, you are a very solid Christian. I hope you and your family enjoy a lovely Christmas this year.
