    Default "It's Too Heavy Dad"

    "Son, can you grab Meesha's dog food?" "Sure dad"...I go stand and hold the door open and watch as my son struggle's to grab the big bag out of the back of the truck...

    I watch impatiently ... "hurry up son"... so he struggles more and more trying to show he can handle it...but finally he cries out "it's too heavy dad"

    So many times we struggle for WAY too long, striving and stressing ...when all we need to do is cry out..."it's too heavy Dad" SEE, the thing is...we try to live for God, but He doesn't want us to live for Him, He wants to Live Through Us!!!

    Where we strive and strive and butt heads and seemingly hit one brick wall after another is when we TRY to do what He's NEVER asked us to do... Live Independently From Him for Him.


    In God's Kingdom, He doesn't want me to pick up the dog food, he wants to pick up the dog food through me...Paul said It's NOT I who live but Christ in Me.


    However, our enemy works on our thoughts, and the one thought he wants to lie to us about is that God is AFAR OFF ... that He's too busy or He's not willing or He's not able. But that's why it's so very important to Hide God's Word in our Hearts, that we might not "miss his mark" You see, one of the most quoted verses of so many ...Says SO Much, yet I fear we apply it so little.


    Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,

    And He shall direct[a] your paths.

    We are commanded to acknowledge Him in ALL OUR WAYS! Why??? Why would he want to devote so much time to me? David asked the same question...What is man that your mind FULL of him?

    1 Peter 5:7

    gives us an answer

    7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

    We also have been given this Promise, "I will never leave you and Never Forsake You"

    NEVER means what? lol

    Stop and think about that! Right now, as you are reading this... GOD IS NOT AFAR OFF, in fact His Very Own Word says He is right there with us.

    The Bible also says He's a "Jealous God"

    In what way???? If you have had kids and you watch them near the road... "You are on pins and needles hoping they heed your warning and KNOW to say out of harms way." You jealously watch over them...

    Not to berate them or hurt them but because you love them.

    The same way our Heavenly Father has issued his laws and commands and warnings because He loves Us.

    That is why Paul instructed Timothy...Pray without ceasing... (In all your ways acknowledge Him)...talk to Dad (non stop) Why? He knows better, He knows more, He got the answers. We are not our own, We are HIS! Bought and Paid for with His Precious Blood. He has a plan for our lives and its not to be walked out or lived out independently of His Lordship!

    In Isaiah chapter thirty, God becomes upset and angry with Israel because they have stopped turning to Him and it's led to great harm to the nation He has loved so much.

    Yet even in the midst of his Anger and Frustration He tells them He will not be angry for long and that they will turn back to Him and when they do...He Promises He will be there to instruct them, saying

    Isaiah 30:21 Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying,

    This is the way, walk in it, Whenever you turn to the right hand

    Or whenever you turn to the left.

    Right now there's a weariness and heaviness upon so many people, but we have a weapon against such oppression. "Put on The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; For God Inhabits the praises of His People!!! And Where God's Presence is ... THERE IS FULLNESS OF JOY, The Joy of the Lord is Our Strength!

    Yet sometime we can be convinced that God is somewhere far away from our daily task. We think we have to live in a prayer closet to find Him, but that's NOT so, He's there 24/7 ... watching over You Jealously as a Parent watches over a child at play.

    "Daughter, I've seen you stress...I've watched you tremble with all that anxiety over that co-worker" "Son, I see the heaviness, the fear the worry over your recent lay off"...DO NOT FEAR ANYMORE

    But Rather

    Phil 4:4Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, gladden yourselves in Him]; again I say, Rejoice!(A)

    5Let all men know and perceive and recognize your unselfishness (your considerateness, your forbearing spirit). The Lord is near [He is [a]coming soon].

    6Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.

    7And God's peace [shall be yours, that [c]tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall [d]garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

    If your going through something right now that's “way too heavy” Quit going through it "alone"... that's a LIE...a thought that you have taken and acted and lived upon.

    God's Word says to "take every thought captive" so take those thoughts of being alone captive and awaken and realize Your Heavenly Father is standing there ...His arms are wide open waiting for you to cry out..."it's too heavy Dad"
