Schooling our brains out.....

Couldn't sleep, so I fired up the dual-hamster-powered netbook and started going through the thousands of links to try and inflict some order in my collection. Came across John Taylor Gatto and some Youtube vids, certainly worth watching, especially if you don't have a micahish link-collection to scrabble with at 2am.

Modern schooling...grinding life and intelligence out of children, stunting their growth and preparing them to be good global citizens. Pre-programmed, predictable, docile, confused, childish.

I had wondered a couple of times recently at the Scripture:

Isa 3:12 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

The bit about women ruling was obvious....over here we have the pants-suit Merkel sliming us into the EUSSR, ex-Bishopette Kaessmann may have gone on to other reprehensible deeds but the state "church" is still apostasising along in its sodomite equal-opportunistic way, and everywhere one looks one finds unhappy women shrilly trying to be men, and frustrated men persecuted by "law" and "government". The wails about an aging society and rapidly declining morals and dwindling socialist-revenues are loud enough to drown out dissent (for now, eventually the lid will blow off and the good ol' Concentration Camp will be back in vogue) and prevent any thoughts of the root causes trickling into consciousness between ad-breaks and mindless entertainment and spin.

The thought that had been lurking at the fringes of my mind with regard to Isaiah 3:12 was....where are these "children" that are supposed to be ruling us? Tonight the answer came....it's us! Thanks to the stunting of our childhoods and the insertion of the synthetic stage "adolescence" and the prophylactic neutering of our adulthood we are the children....overgrown monsters ruled by our passions and weaknesses, with an appearance of maturity and the strength of years but devoid of wisdom and deeper thought and stability and commitment and principles.

And if we are grotesque mutated children, what then of the brats that rule us? These are not merely the talking hairdos we are permitted to pretend to elect, or the ones that spoon-feed us selected lies in place of news, they are also the bureaucrats that micromanage our lives right down to the permitted bendiness of our bananas (yes, this is the EU), and whether water is healthy to drink when thirsty (yes, that's the latest awesome scientific finding here in You -> Rope), they are also the armed persons that harvest our cash when we drive 5km/h over the limit and who are being prepared for the imminent necessity where non-conformists and thought-criminals are once again to be excised for the public good (in a sustainable ecologically friendly recycling/cremation perchance?).

What Mr Gatto describes is the mechanics of how 2 Tim 3:1-7 came about....ok, it's neither the sole cause nor the primary one, but it is a piece of the puzzle and might come in useful in our decision-making in these days. There are other implications but discussing them publicly is likely futile.....those well-worn rabbit-trails wind their ways into PC minefields. Perhaps via PM. Anyway, watch the vids, Mr Gatto's report from the front lines of his theatre-of-war is interesting and worth the effort of listening.

I enjoy your writings btw you're very gifted. with that frustrated smiley you keep putting up though - you need the Comforter to comfort you micah with the gentle touch and humility of Jesus by sitting at Jesus' feet more> Then you will have that much needed catharsis and put up some facetious smileys like

I believe he is as well. You are very astute and articulate.

btw I did not know that in Switzerland less than one child in 4 were not even making it through elementary school. That's unthinkable to me. However on the other hand here in the USA, I've always thought our schooling is taking away from Family and indoctrinating them -public Schools that is. Way too long in School and less time spent with family. Honestly for my preference, 5 to maybe 6 hours a day is long enough

Yes, the Swiss education surprised me too. If I were to find a Mrs Micah, I'd go there to raise the descendants. Mind you, the EU doesn't like having a separatist enclave in its midst and pressures them no end, and it's not all plain sailing there by any measure. The liberal brainwashers are hard at work there too, and they have also got a significant proportion of culture enrichers from the religion of pieces. The way things are going there won't be any place safe from the globalist child-snatchers, so we have to look for our help a bit higher. A lot Higher.

The sorrow I have at the moment is that our little congregation seems totally unconcerned about schooling by state atheism...but from my own experience it is in the school where budding faith is squashed.
