I have been wondering. What age is considered to young to be able to make a decision to accept Jesus into your life?

I do not know at what age a child might be too young to accept Jesus. I have known some children who have made true confessions of Christ (as born out by their subsequent adult lives) as young as 5. I have known others who were not ready to accept Him until much older ... and some, like myself, who were mature adults before we ever did.

I feel as though you can work Jesus into their lives as young as possible. Not necessarily brainwashing or indoctrinating per se, but to simply encourage them to develop a relationship with God as soon as possible.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

7Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
I agree with the above posters as I was saved when I was four years old. I didn't necessarily understand everything but I knew that I needed Jesus in my heart because I sinned and I wanted Him to live inside of me forever.![]()

Well i guess it all depends on how early you understand everything. I was saved when i was 10. By then most kids can understand stuff. 4 is young but i see how a lot of kids could understand it.
