The Night Before Jesus (Preludes to the Rapture)

At 10pm central standard time..the first call comes into 911 ..a man is hysterical screaming "my wife just disappeared" the 911 dispatcher replies "sir what do you mean...did she leave and not come home?" the man screams "NO ..I mean she just disappeared right before my eyes and all that is left are her clothes"

another 911 call comes through...its from county hospital and a frantic nurse cries out "ALL THE BABIES ARE GONE?"

a husband and wife are following a car down a two lane highway when the car they are following suddenly veers off the road. The husband jumps out and races to the car only to discover it's empty except for a pile of clothes in the driver's seat.

"Flight 411 this is delta tower...please confirm your plans to descend" "Flight 411?" "sir Flight 411 is not responding" nervous travelers begin to shout ..."what's going on we are passing our destination?" "but the cockpit is empty...the flight crew has disappeared"

BREAKING NEWS ...CNM ...Andrew Cooper reporting..."suddenly without warning ....Seemingly thousands if not millions of people have disappeared...911 emergeny response systems are crashing due to the overload of calls...wolf blitz stands by with word from Whitehouse Correspondents"...."this just in Andrew....100 car pile up on Los Angeles Freeway...wait another report...New York subway systems are reporting major subway crash.... The President and his wife... The First Lady are getting ready to speak to the nation..word is they are currently on a conference call with world leaders as again Andrew this is not a national crisis but reports are coming literally from around the world"

A liberal pastor's cell phone rings...it's a troubled parishoner..."pastor my children are gone...you promised that there was nothing to the rapture...you said it was a fairy tale"

MSNBD's Keith Doberman ..."reports thousands of people have just died in one of the worst airplane crashes in history....a 757 just crashed into downtown Chicago and exploded blowing up 4 apartment complexes"

In a small town in Missouri, a frantic mom rushes the street's ....my kids..MY KIDS??? Have You seen My kids??

In an instant ...all around the Globe, hearts are failing for fear, In Russia, a family of five who had been mocked and ridiculed for their "faith in God" have neighbor's pounding on the door, ...."open up..Please open up...IS THIS WHAT YOU WARNED US ABOUT?" but they were not there..they were with Jesus

A college roommate grab's his heart, his roommate had been reading his bible and vanished right before His eyes....He had warned, he had pleaded but now it was too late....He never listened

She was Ready


Priscilla Wright (Possum Hollow) stands by her stove stirring gravy..tears streaming down her face "Lord, what more can I do ...how many prayers must I pray?"

Just moments earlier she had made another one of her desperate attempts ..."Dan honey you know were having revival services tonight right?" "yea so?" he gruffly replied.."well honey we have a great speaker who's sharing on Israel and how that relates to Jesus soon return" "ya don't say?" "why I haven't heard that before" "say son ya want to go to church with ma?" Dan mockingly ask their fifteen year old son "whatever you decide dad..I'm with you" Dan turns back to his wife "honey why oh why do you get so worked up everytime a preacher comes to town talking about Jesus coming back..it's the same message that preacher's have preached for 2000 years and He hasn't come back yet and Hon I got news for you ..he's not coming back in our lifetime" "Now Dan Wright..you listen and listen good....Jesus IS coming back soon and you ask why I get so worked up?" She begins to sob "SEE PRISCILLA THERE YA GO!" "I got better things to do than get caught up in stuff that makes you act like that!" "But DAN ...the reason I am so worked up is because Jesus IS coming back soon and only for those who have made Him their Lord and Savior and everyone else will be left to face 7 years of the most horrific times this world has ever saw!" "Oh so this loving God ..."he is a loving God right?" she nods "this loving God is only going to take some but leave others? like your son? you mean to tell me you don't think you have a good son? Dan None of us are good enough to stand up to God's Holy Law..that is why Jesus died on the cross and all those who call upon Him are saved from God's coming wrath...can't you see...can't you understand that?" "Honey..I understand alright...me and God are closer than you think..besides You have enough of Jesus for the whole family in my book....now you just go on and fix up dinner and then you go right ahead and have yourself a grand ole time at your revival..me and Daryl will stay home and let you pray for us"

Priscilla had stormed off...tears continuing to stream down as she works on their dinner. "Lord even if they are left behind...please Lord...help them to see ..help them to hear and understand..please save Dan and Daryl ...no matter what it takes I pray again in Jesus Name Amen"

Priscilla had left that night for those services....little did Dan know how relevant that conversation had been...it would be his last opportunity to escape The Tribulation to come.

But as sad as Priscilla had been ...all those tears ..all those prayers..that heavy heavy burden.....she had been carrying...she was deep in prayer on her knees worshipping the Lord (she is ready).."Oh Lord your beautiful....your face is all I seek...for when your eyes are on this child" ......................then as Lightning flashes across the sky ..the Son of God responding to His Father's command ...stands up from His Throne and shouts a shout for the Ages..."COME UP HERE!" in that moment ..in the twinklin of an eye..Priscilla Wright born near a small little town near Possum Hollow who had grown up on the family farm...raised on a wooden pew at New Home Baptist Church...sunday school, vacation bible school...all her devotionals..her bible she had scribbled in over the years...the aches and hurts..the lifelong scars...all bundled up into the life of the woman of God...but NOW she travels through time ascending through the most glorious night....she has been raptured....tears running down her cheek..bows before the Alpha and Omega..the Lion of the Tribe of Judah..the One who was the fourth man in the fire..the Word become Flesh...the King of all Kings and the Lord of All Lords...calls out her name...takes her hands..stands her to her feet and dries the tears from her eyes "Priscilla my daughter..my faithful daughter...well done and welcome home"

A Pastor's Burden

laying face down ...the floor stained with tears after hours of prayer and travail...he slowly rose to his knees he knew "Yes Lord" was all He could say... . Pastor Howard ...picked up his Bible and headed toward the sanctuary...His message today was not taken or googled off the internet...no yearly goody to be served. No this word was a word in season. The sanctuary was unusually crowded..but the pastor hardly noticed. His thoughts so intense...a boldness arising with each drawing moment.. "Take me past the outer courts, into your holy place..past the brazen altar...Lord I want to see your face" the people sang...Pastor Howard could barely contain the words inside...He strode forward to the podium as the song came to its end... Laying His bible down on the Podium...He looks gazingly out to the crowd. "People we are going to skip announcements if you don't mind... choir you are dismissed"

"Never in all my years of ministry have I ever been so stirred to deliver a message. I can truly relate to the Prophet Jeremiah as he said about God's word "it's like fire shut up in my bones""Father in the name of Jesus ...I ask for your help..let not a word come out of my mouth that is not coming by your Holy Spirit...let all who have ears to hear ..HEAR and all who have eyes to see ... SEE...let no life leave here without knowing they have heard from YOU Oh Lord...give me clarity I pray for your glory in Jesus name Amen.

"He opened his bible to 1 corinthians 15:51 and began to read

51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed€” 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

The pastor thundered with great passion his hearts cry that not one in the building would be found wanting when that moment in time came to pass. He preached as if this was his last message...a fire burning in his soul ... knowing the terror of the Lord ...he begged and pleaded with all who would hear "Today is the day of salvation..now is the appointed time...many of you might be tempted to scoff at this message saying "Oh sure we have heard Jesus is coming many times and it's been 2000 years and yet the world continues... but Peter said this "know that in the last days scoffers would arise saying" "where is the promise of His coming?"

I tell you the truth ... Jesus will descend with a shout and call His church home...if you neglect such a great salvation today..if you harden your heart..if you mock or turn a deaf ear...two things are certain..you will find yourself an enemy of God heading for a time of His wrath that is to come and if you so happen to die in your sins...you most certainly are appointed to stand to face an eternity in a lake of fire. You might say ...that's pretty condemning preacher... but that's why I'm standing here..preaching with everything in me..."HEAR ME..this is a final call to someone here today..I feel it in my spirit" "Jesus came not into this world to condemn...He came to save!"

The pastor continued spelling out for the crowd of what the bible says will happen during the 7 years of Great Tribulation ...finally it came down to this

"In Closing... I WANT NO HEADS BOWED and NO EYES CLOSED... Jesus said this ... "If you will confess Me before men...I will confess you to the Father...but if you deny Me before Men..I will deny you to the Father" If you want to KNOW that you ARE READY ...that your sins have been forgiven an You are ready to make a public declaration of your faith and devotion to Jesus Christ..I want you to get out of your seat and run up to these altars and get on your knees and say this very simple prayer..."SAVE ME JESUS"

Inside that great sanctuary...a holy fear of God had fallen ..and when the pastor's call had gone out... hundreds got out of their seats and ran to the altar...tears flowing...people repenting.

Just a few weeks later that pastor walking by a new sunday school class in session ..."born again ..now what?" ...a joy springing up in his soul as the room is completely full...

that night ...that pastor and those new converts ..heard the shout "COME UP HERE" They Were Ready

Earl faithfully sat down in the pew he has so come to know as "his seat" through all the years...middle row left center.. at the church he and his wife Betty have attended for decades

Currently just a lay member, no longer serving his former role as deacon, Earl is able to relax and be off duty

No teaching Sunday School as in years past ...nothing but to just sit and enjoy his golden years. Earl's a good good man.

His family has been a central part to First Christian Church since it's inception in the mid 1880's...His Great Grandparents were founder's and back in the 1980's Earl was honored in their place in the Centennial Celebration

it's a routine sunday morning ...they start with a word in prayer, then a young girl clicks on an overhead projector..and they sing one of the more contemporary songs ...followed by a song out of the hymnals... "now on the fourth stanza let's all stand"

Offering is taken

Prayer request... ."unspoken" "sister's husband's been down in the back"

The Pastor led the congregation in prayer

and "finally" Earl speaks under his breath to his wife as the pastor finishes his prayer with an "Amen"

Earl looks at his watch and his mind drifts to Wall Street, "wonder if my blue chipper's are ok?" "I forgot to call the landscaper's"

then from the pulpit came the introduction that brought Earl's mind back to the time at hand

"Everyone I'm so excited to share this young man with you all today, I've heard great things about his ministry and Know we are all in for a treat today"

"Oh boy" Earl leans over to his wife Betty..."this young man's still wet behind the ears, can't be a day over 40, maybe not even 30"

"ssshhhh" Betty scolds

stepping to the pulpit and embracing the Pastor, The young minister lays his bible on the pulpit and opens it up

"Wow, what a great honor it is to be here today to be able to share with you an urgent message The Lord has laid on my heart ..one that I know is for just such a time as this"

Then acknowledging the Pastor, "Pastor thanks so much for this invitation and opportunity"

Earl restless, having heard it all in his many years...already begins to position himself for some secret "shut eye" during the sermon

over the years he's perfected his trade... .open the bible ... lay it to his left just between he and the end of the pew then lean on the shoulder of the pew and rest...it looks like he's reading but in actuality he's able to close his eyes and he's not a snorer...

"IF we may, Let's get ready to hear the Word of the Lord... "Heavenly Father, we come before Your Prescence with great Fear and Awe Lord, knowing that we are about to open up Your Word and knowing what You have said that Your Words are Spirit and are Life...well we ask that today, this day..that Your Words will pierce the very soul of each one here including myself with a new and Great Urgency to be Ready for Your Return...in Jesus Name... and All God's People said??" "AMEN"

"I want you all to turn your Bible's to Mathew 7:21-23"

a bristling sound rushes through the congregration ..as the people obeyed and turned their bibles open

Earl was still awake and so followed suit

21 €œNot everyone who says to Me, €˜Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, €˜Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? 23 And then I will declare to them, €˜I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!

The Young minister finished the passage and then stepped out from behind the pulpit... ..

"in many churches all across this great nation...people have come to churches just like these for years and years and have gone through the motions of religious duties...sometimes sunday after sunday, sunday night, choir practice night, business meeting, wednesday night prayer service and many "revival service meetings"

"To the carnal eye, if someone was to be that faithful, that diligent, that pious, that dedicated, you would think you would be safe to assume that those persons or any person for that matter with such devotion to their practice would be saved" "from the Wrath to come"

"But that is why I'm here today, because it's obvious after reading this text after hearing the words of this passage, it's never safe to assume"

"I'm sure you've all heard why they say it's bad to assume?" The Young man coaxes and a few giggles assure the answer

"Here in this passage our Lord and Savior...Teaches us ...even Warns Us, that there will be THOSE who will stand before Him and even call Him Lord but in response He will say "who are you?" "But they will say Lord I've done this or I've done that in Your name, I've went to church, I've been a deacon, I've been to hundreds if not thousands of services ...I've given money, I've taught sunday school, I...I ...I ... I" "but Dear Jesus...He will look to these people and say "Depart from Me I NEVER KNEW YOU"

Earl realizing today was not normal...this was no sermon...he wouldn't be able to sleep with a guy preaching with such Tone in his voice... Straightened himself up and took note... "this young whipper snapper but watch it" he thought to himself..."doesn't he realize who he is preaching too?"

The Young Minister...walked back behind the Pulpit and took a drink of water...Then slowly looked up and around the room...

"To my eye...you all look like very Godly people, your here in church when so many don't even bother...your here in this House...and It would be easy for me to assume everyone's ok...BUT... his voice begins to quiver... .I know the Reason God has put this message on my heart is because there are some here today THAT Aren't Alright... .and so therefore I beg you all to Listen..Please hear the heart of this message...I have NOT come Nor did Jesus send me hear to condemn You but to rather Plea with You to make sure your NOT Playing Church...that You haven't lived this life in a way that when You Stand Before Jesus ...He won't look at You and say Depart from Me I never Knew You"

Earl's temper was being stoked... "who is this guy?" he nudged to his wife "Honey...shhhh"

"well, he better change his tune" "I don't need to hear this type of message"

meanwhile the Young Minister continued preach his heart out...beggin and pleading

"People please make yourselves ready...Jesus's coming is even at the door"

many eyes in the congregation showed a sincere brokenness

And when the altar call came... several responded and ran to the altar..crying out..."Jesus Save Me"

but Not Earl, He stormed to the back of the Church..grumbling the whole way...glaring at the Pastor to alert him He was NOT happy ..putting on his coat and hat...left in a huff

Betty cautioned "Earl calm down honey..slow down..you are all worked up"

all afternoon. all Earl could think was how he was going to go to the Pastor's house and sternly let him no ..that in no uncertain terms there was never to be that type of speaker again

still fuming He laid down into bed...The Wall Street Journal in hand..but had to get one more thing off his chest before bedtime

Honey "it reeked of legalism" ... "that holier than thou crap has no place at First Christian Church" "My grand daddy would be rolling in his grave"

"Turn it to KY3 will ya?" "sure honey"

BREAKING NEWS... .Thousands if not millions of people have just disappeared"... ..."HONEY...HONEY" Earl reached out in desperation to elbow his wife...Grabbing His heart in Panic and fear....She was not there!...She had been Caught up to me Jesus in the Air.....

At 10pm cst... A Shout had went out... ...COME UP HERE

But Earl was NOT READY!!

Oh Lord, I pray that we will all be ready when that day comes. I pray for our unsaved friends and family members that you'd please open their eyes and hearts and save them from the wrath to come. Amen.

And for those of you who aren't sure if you're saved or don't care, I urge you to flee from the wrath to come.

7Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

8Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

We flee from the wrath to come to the One who is the source of that wrath. Oh my friends, He is merciful indeed to those who come to Him He will in no wise cast out. He is longsuffering and not willing that any should perish. But He in also righteous and must judge sin. Go to Him before it is too late.

TC sat in his prayer closet having just finished spending time alone with God... pen and paper in hand he began to write..."Dear family and friends, if you are receiving this letter it's because I love you so very much and feel to share this very important message with you. Now all of you know most if not all of my short comings and many of you have been there to experience alot of my personal ups and downs. So therefore you have to know this is not coming at you from any other angle than straight from my heart.

First and foremost I hope all of you know that I love Jesus Christ. He means everything to me. But in saying that ..let me say I truly believe the only reason that the apostle Paul said he was the chief of all sinners was that TC hadn't been born yet. Some of you would be very fair to say TC's a hypocrite and I totally understand. Again I have fallen short many times and feel so unworthy to write this letter but at the same time..feel so compelled.

As many of you already know I believe that these are the "end times" and if you don't it's because of my timidity and hence this letter. Many would scoff and say "where is the promise of His coming?" "it's been said for 2000 years" but in the bible Peter warned that would be a sign his coming was very close..Peter said "in the last days scoffers would arise saying the very same thing" you might also say "no man knows the day nor the hour..but Jesus also said this... "how is it you can look to the sky and know a storm is coming but yet you can't discern the signs of the times?" True know man does the exact hour Jesus will call his church home but Jesus himself said we would or should know the season.

What are the signs to look for? A global depression, growing escalation of hatred toward Israel, ... wars and rumors of wars(war on terrorism, North Korea-South Korea, India-Pakistan, Israel-Hamas, Iran threatening to blow Israel off the map)...people running everywhere (to and fro)...love waxing cold... earthquakes in diverse places..greed on a major scale...the world gone mad...and days like Noah and Sodom and Gomorrah. The bible says that at some point the whole world will cry out for a "man" to step on the scene and save them ..starting with two major issues. The Economy and Israel. Right now you all can testify that everyone is looking for answers ...not just here in America but worldwide. Someone please bring relief. And I am sure you all have watched over the last few years the mounting violence in Israel. When has there ever been such a global cry for peace?

So what is the reason for my letter? ...Jesus said there would come a time where He would shout "come up here" and millions of His people would be caught up to meet Him in the air... can you imagine that? He said it would happen in the blink of an eye or in the twinklin of an eye...THAT FAST. Please stop and think about that for a minute. If Jesus was to make that call right now ..what would be the result? Planes falling out of the sky as christian pilots have been called home. Car wrecks galore as unmanned vehicles run wild ...the panic, the heart break would all be unimaginable and undescribable..but please try and imagine.
and not long after that moment...a 7 year countdown will begin... any one still here will be left to face a time called Jacob's Trouble or the Tribulation Period. It will be a time that could easily be called the Perfect Storm. All of satan's fury and God's wrath will be unleashed upon those still here. Those who survive will have been divided into two camps. Those who have pledged allegiance to Jesus Christ or those who have aligned themselves with mankind and satan himself. If you align yourself with Jesus ..you will suffer martyrdom for your decision and if you choose mankind you will suffer eternal damnation. Either way you will die for your decision.

You might be saying TC aren't you being meladramatic??? I can't even begin to be dramatic enough to warn you of what is soon to come. I wish I could.

Think back to Hurricane Katrina..suppose I was the weatherman and I knew it was coming an the eye was for sure to hit the town you live in. But rather than offending you or for the sake of being politically correct chose to keep the "warning" to myself ...and because I did..you were blindsided by the storm and lost your life? what kind of person/weatherman would I be?????

Well according to my faith...THERE IS COMING A STORM upon this earth that will leave no person untouched by catastrophe...your Only hope to escape is through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

If you will believe with your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ has died and rose from the grave You will be saved~

Please, if you are reading this letter ... do Just That... Believe in Jesus and confess Him. I beg you.

Jesus said this..."If you will confess me before men I will confess you to my Father, but if you deny me before men I will deny You before my Father"

In closing...please let me restate that I am no better than anyone. Not at all..in fact I am the least of all...but I don't care about that ..I CARE ABOUT YOU... please hear this letter for what it says... I don't want you to be caught in the most horrific storm this world has ever saw ... a 7 yr storm that is coming as sure as death and taxes. Please REPENT if you haven't already and make Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life...I beg you ... because His Wrath will soon be poured out.

...let me just say this again..."I love you all" ...if this hurts or offends you...I'm sorry ..BUT I'd rather hurt and offend you and have you HEAR this message and make sure you Know it and Jesus Himself than to stay quiet for fear and then someday stand before God and hear that you didn't make it because I cared more for my own pride than I cared for you!

TC closed his notepad and prayed one more time "Father ..I have tried to do as I felt you led me to do...I have wrote this letter of warning in your name..Please dear Lord, bless this message and convict all my friends and family to hear its urgent message for your glory and purpose in Jesus name I pray ..Amen"


TC sent out several copies...prayed over each one ... not many days afterwards... he sat lying in his bed ...dozing off when a sound from heaven came piercing the night "COME UP HERE" ... TC was READY!!!!!

Rex sat down in his lazy boy after a hard days work. Lying beside his chair was the day's mail. Rex first popped the top on his ice cold beverage ..took a drink and let out a big sigh. Stress was bearing down...so many of his buddies had been layed off...a seeming haunting certainty was facing Rex...a job he held for years was on the chopping block. Hitting the remote to turn on the tv..."Wall Street fell another 5 percent today....fears mount world wide as jobless claims are staggering upward" Rex flip through all the networks and finally hit mute as he scrolled through his mail...."hmmmm a letter from TC?"

Rex tore open the envelope and began to read TC's heartfelt cry. TC had been Rex's golfing bud for years and although Rex knew TC was "religious" they had never really talked that much about faith....but as he poured through the letter...Rex sensed an urgency in it's tone..."why would he take the time to send this?" he thought....a tear trickled down ...

Rex read through the letter several times....and almost picked up his phone...but something stopped him..and instead he felt led to read this one paragraph one more time

Closing the letter ...something strange began to happen...his heart pounding with intensity ...Rex found himself gripped with fear...knelt down by his couch ..."Jesus, my name's Rex...I'm TC's friend..?"

Pouring out his heart with brokeness and urgency...Rex "Please Jesus forgive me for living so much of my life without You, I beg you to take over and save me"

Rex got up from where he prayed ...the anxiety that had been so heavy upon his life just minutes ago..now.... replaced with a peace that Rex had never known ......

looking down at the letter he held in his hand...Rex smiled with Joy.....He had to call his friend TC to share the news...

Just as he was picking up his cell phone .....

A loud Shout came from on High "COME UP HERE"

When the news broke "10pm cst time ...millions have disappeared"....Rex was gone...."He had been made READY"

across town, Kyle had closed his cell and hopped into bed, Golf Digest and his remote control...tossed TC's letter into the trash and cussed his name "you'll get your's my friend, you'll get yours"

"THIS IS KY3....Breaking News","reports are coming in from everywhere of missing people"

Both Kyle and Ricky had raced to their phones....who did they call???? TC, but there was only his voice mail

"Hello, You have reached TC, sorry I can't take your call, if I'm not here or there, then I'm in the air...but until then leave a message and I'll call ya back"

TC has been "caught Up to meet the Lord"

Ricky and Kyle.....they are still here THEY WERE NOT READY!!! left to face a time that the Word of God says unless God had shortened the days "no flesh would survive" not because they dissed their friend TC, but because they had rejected Jesus"

Life is fast and ya gotta play hard ....that is his motto

last night, he was clubbing and this morning he's paying...."4 ibuprofen's and a gatorade...he's got to fuel up and replenish because he's dehydrated from too much alcohol

head's a pounding, his stomach's turning and life's passing him by....that part he doesn't get

his cell phone's got ten messages ....."Tony, I just called to remind you of the INVITE" "hey Tony, hope you get a chance to come" "hey bro, heard Sandy Invited ya already, but just wanted to invite ya myself....hope to see ya there"

It's Easter Sunday....and Tony had been invited to his cousin's church....they are having this drama or some type of special service "for us heathens" Tony had thought

"I know what they are up to?" "I got their game all figured out"

his head throbs in pain.....

"if I needed God to get women or something I could understand" but he see's three text from his newest entree's on his phone...."hey stud...can't wait to hook up next week" "yo, Tony it's me from last night at Grumpy's....REMEMBER?" as quick as they came....Tony deleted every mention of Jesus and Church, his family was a bunch of "holy rollers" and it was just not on his radar

he had world's to conquer...women to meet

but the last text to come across ....jarred him for a sec

"Hey Tony, it's Lizzie, I heard you might be at Church today....got my hopes up again but you didn't make it"

Tony slammed his cell phone shut.....Lizzie has always been his dream girl, but she dumped his butt when she gave her life to Jesus and Tony has resented Jesus ever since

all day long Tony ponders a reply, he hasn't hit delete to Lizzie's Message ..but it's not worth a reply

after a long nap.....his hangover "stealing time"

it's 10pm CST .....He turns his tv set back on.....BREAKING NEWS.......JUST MOMENTS AGO....911 call centers started receiving calls reporting hundreds and thousands of missing people

Tony sat up from his place on his couch, His heart racing....."Tony, someday Jesus will Shout and Call His Church Home"..."and I don't want to miss out" "you can give Your Life to Jesus with Me or NOT but I'm going to be ready with or without you"

Lizzie's former plea... flashes in Tony's mind as he quickly picks up his cell phone and hits SEND ..calling Lizzie's number....NO ANSWER

Tony dials his brother and sister n law who had text him earlier to remind him of THE INVITE........NO ANSWER....PANIC sets in....

JESUS Has come and those most closest to Tony are Gone....They Heard the Shout

but NOT TONY,

Carl sat at the door way, his hands trembling as an artic blast cut through the late night air

"hurry in....PLEASE hurry in"

more and more people hurried along...some almost ran Carl over in desperation to just "feel the heat"

"MORE BLANKETS HONEY"...Carl cried.."MORE BLANKETS"

"there's hot soup ya'll ...please eat up"

as the last one made it's way into the Homeless Shelter, ...Carl closed the door and locked it tight..hoping to still the heat and warmth in for the night

Up in years and over worked....for little or no pay...Carl's once again moved with a stirring compassion as his eyes survey the room

over at the end of a yonder table sits a family of four...the mom, hunker's near her youngest...rubbing the hands of her daughter and trying to smile to cover the shame and all the pain

a tear trickles once again as Carl looks helplessly ..so dearly wanting to make everything alright for everyone

NOT REALIZING He is sharing His Heavenly Father's heart....He quickens over to the woman and brings a warm blanket handed to him from his loving wife

"here, here" "please get warm"

the mother's eyes look up ...embracing the warmth NOT only of the blanket but of the man of God named Carl

hot soup, warm blankets and a night away from the bitter cold

something so many take for granted all across this globe

as soon as the room has all been served their bowls of soup and their cot's secure...Carl ask permission to say a Word and then pray

"Tonight you all are here by invitation"

"These doors are always open ..all you got to do is walk in"

"please take a moment and look around....this has been a banquet dinner and I call you all my friends"

But this is nothing compared to what You Guys are offered...

There's being even now a banquet table prepared for all the ages...and Your invitation I have in my hand...Carl opens the Bible and begins to Read..John 3:16

He closes the Bible then slowly gazes at each eye

I beg you all to hear me....I hope I don't start to cry

You want to know when your invitation was sent out??? It was the day Jesus Died!!!

While You were yet Lost in Sin...Lost in a cold cruel world....Jesus Had Died for You, but 3 days later He rose from that Grave and when He did...DOORS FLEW OPEN and a meal was starting to be cooked...It's called the Marriage Supper....Please don't be overlooked

...tonight sitting here in this humble banquet hall PLEASE PLEASE hear this old man....Please let Him write your name in His accepted Book


In deepest humility Carl, called them to The Cross, asking them to pray ..."Please raise your hand if you've been hooked?"

Hundreds across the room bowed their heads and prayed....

The night was cold and oh so chilly

The mother looked at her destitute husband as hopelessness made the wind's chill so bitter to taste

over by a wall their son is bowed over..."Oh God why can't we be like everyone else dad..and have our own place???

Bankruptcy, foreclosure and medical bills to the max have saw their way onto this dad's shoulders and tonight ..it's total weight

comes crashing down...homeless, helpless ...desperation ..."Dear God if your up there...PLEASE HELP" is all he can say

"let's just walk" He picks up his son by his arm and then His wife, follows in suit...trash is blowing all around them ....they must feel like human waste

Up ahead their's a door and it's open....and there standing in place is an old man with arm's wide open...He's beckoning them to come

"Hurry IN...Please Hurry In" ...."Hello my name's Carl" as he shut the door for the night "Honey More Blankets Please" he hollered then turning to the family he said...."wow you guys came just in time..we were ready to shut this place up for the night"..."please have a warm blanket..soups on the stove and your sure welcome to eat"

This family of four huddled up to an old table .... but to them this night ..it was paradise...windchills outside are below zero...they see cot's all around and soup is steaming in front ...

WHY? The Dad wonders....

Then as they were eating ...That friendly old man named Carl began to speak

"You all are here by invitation" "but let me tell you of a future feast"

"Please Give your life to Jesus" they heard and answered that altar call, and when Jesus Shouted COME UP HERE...

At 10pm cst ....They made their Escape...THEY HAD BEEN MADE READY

walking down the hall of his highschool for the last time of his senior year...Caleb can't help but to observe everything in a slow motion...time magically slowing down...reflecting upon the days gone by...spit ball fights ...freshman hazing...basketball glory...the usual malaise of the slow walk between classes and the hurried scamper after the first bell. Yet still loudest in his thoughts...Caleb looks at THE LOCKER...the locker where things changed so drastically this year WHEN Caleb heard something so loud in his spirit."be bold"..His Bible mistaken for his Biology book had found it's way to school.....this revelation annoyed when he realized his homework was still at home..heading to class as if walking the "green mile"...Caleb had walked to the head of the class bible in tow ..holding it out to begin his plea for homework forgiveness...

but little did Caleb know what was to transpire

timidly beginning his story "ummm Mr Mosher?" ...."Mr Mosher...I uhhh forgot" ....finally catching his teacher's attention Mr Mosher...fixed his eyes on THE BOOK....."CALEB!!!!" "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" "Umm I" "I SAID CALEB...WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" "You have no purpose in bringing THAT BOOK into this Class....That fable..that myth...that junk is NOT allowed in MY CLASSROOM....YOU HEAR ME?" "Sir?" "I said...that book is NOT allowed in my class...and you young man are on the verge of serious trouble if you don't get that thing out of my face" "BUT MR" "NOT ANOTHER WORD....YOU TAKE THAT BACK OUT OF THIS ROOM"

Something inside Caleb ignited as again he heard the words "be bold"....as all eyes sat fixed upon the heated exchange...."MR MOSHER..WHAT IS IT ABOUT THIS BOOK THAT HAS YOU SO SCARED?" "That it will preach your funeral? That it's the number one selling book of all time? OR WHAT it holds inside? in a mocking chuckle Mr Mosher steps from behind his desk preparing for an all out assault upon this audacious student..."YOU THINK I'M SCARED? I tell you what I'm scared of Caleb...is of people who read this book and believe it...who believe it's lies and believe "WHAT? THAT WE WERE DESIGNED BY A DESIGNER?...THAT THOU SHALL NOT MURDER IS A BAD DECREE? THAT TO LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF Will do you harm? No sir Mr Mosher..the reason you hate this book isn't because your scared of those who believe..your scared of what it says about YOU? You love the darkness and you curse the light ..you want to know why?" "Oh yes Caleb please enlighten me" Mr Mosher says in derision...."Because your deeds are evil" "You boast in yourself and man's answer's ..you mock what you do not know...you lord over we your impressionable students with ideologies you proclaim in the name of science..BUT WHO CREATED SCIENCE?" "where did KNOWLEDGE COME From Mr Mosher?" "an atom..a cell....an explosion ..it's so obvious that we all are DESIGNED..and if there's a design THERE has to be a designer" "SO YOU SAY CALEB" ..."No Mr Mosher...so God Himself has said IN THIS BOOK"

"THAT'S ENOUGH" ...Mr Mosher scurredly opened his drawer and took out a pen and began scribbling I WANT YOU TO TAKE THIS NOTE AND HEAD "DOWN THE HALL" ...as he was writing Mr Mosher noticed a drop of water had falling on his desk...looking up his eyes met Caleb's ....tears streaming down Caleb's face...."Oh so you want mercy?" "you sorry Caleb?" "Yes Mr Mosher....FOR YOU I want Mercy..FOR YOU I am sorry....his tears pouring....THIS BOOK YOU DESPISE..Has pronounced you GUILTY OF CRIMES for all eternity...But 2000 years ago..This Book became Flesh and dwelt amongst this world ...Jesus Christ was born of a virgin...lived..performed many many miracles...was sentenced to death and 3 days later rose from the grave DEFYING Science..Defying nature...and Proving He is THE ONE TRUE GOD ...and the reason He died Mr Mosher was because OF ME ..and Because of YOU" turning to face his sobered and glued to the exchange classmates...he continued "And BECAUSE OF ALL OF YOU...JESUS DIED"

Today I came into this classroom with my bible because I made a mistake....I picked it up thinking it was my Biology Book....and I brought it in here to explain that I needed forgiveness for screwing up...for missing the mark...for leaving my homework home and I have faced Mr Mosher's Judgement and He has sentenced me "down the hall"

But everyone of us in this room ...have missed The Ultimate Mark...we have sinned against God's classroom..we have disobeyed in His Universe...and He has sentenced Us all "down the hall" But I have good news......JESUS TOOK THAT WALK FOR US ALL ....and 2000 years ago..he walked to Calvary and took My Place and Your Place and Died in our place and IF You ...Like I have already done...Believe in Jesus Christ and that He rose from the grave and Confess it with your Mouth ....You and I can live forever eternally in a DESIGNED Place called Heaven" and turning back to Mr Mosher...and that place was designed forr You too Mr Mosher"

Putting down the pen...and wadding up his note....Mr Mosher's hand shook nervously....standing back up and walking around his desk..Mr Mosher walked towards Caleb and asked "May I?" reaching out his hand for Caleb's... Mr Mosher shook Caleb's hand

slamming the locker door closed for the last time...Caleb's cheek streaming with a trickled tear...reflecting upon His Senior Year and THAT DAY His life...His school and His Biology teacher were changed forever!

The following year...in the midst of a cold winter night...lying in his college dorm...READING THAT BOOK......Caleb heard a SHOUT.....COME UP HERE

at the same time....MR MOSHER was sitting in his Lazy Boy....Praying....After reading THAT same book and He Heard that SAME SHOUT....."COME UP HERE"

Just a quick question, and I will only read the responses. In the rapture, who will be raptured and who will not? I believe most would say anyone who has excepted Jesus in their heart. Most, however, also often resort to we always need to be getting our lives in order and to walk with God now closer than ever before, almost as to indicate perhaps even if one was saved, perhaps they will not be ready for the rapture.

If one believes once saved always saved yet a "brother or sister" is living in a way that is against the way of Christ, will she or he be raptured? If one believes in the possible loss of one's salvation, do we know who than will be raptured and those who are not, even among the "saved".

Will only those looking for the rapture be raptured? Are all worthy to be raptured, depending on the way in which they are living? If not, can we tell where the black line is?

Just a couple thoughts that came to mind while reading this. Unless directly asked a question, I will just be reading any responses.

I personally believe that as far as the partial rapture goes, the rapture is a promise, not a reward. There is no "refining" of the Church that has to take place to "earn the rapture" or "salvation". We are saved and sealed with the Holy Spirit at the time of our salvation and all believers go in the rapture. When Paul was writing to the church at Corinth - who were notably "Carnal" Christians, he said in 15:51 "We will ALL be changed." (1 Corinthians 15:50-54)

Even those that may not believe in the Rapture will be caught up to meet the Lord in the clouds as well. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 says more on the Rapture:

13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

And then later in the chapter 5, still talking about the same thing he says,

9For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

10Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

He will not let His own children living on the earth before the Rapture, go thru the Great Tribulation. The Tribulation is a time when God's wrath is poured out on all flesh, and God said that He would keep her "from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth." Revelation 3:10

Now, I know that many will come to Christ during the Tribulation and the 144,000 Jews that are sealed will go thru the Tribulation as witnesses for God. Anyhow, I really need to go start on school for the day. Hope that helps!
