Encouragement
Galations 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Brethren, let us keep on going, striving for the mark of the high calling of Jesus Christ. I know the way is steep and rocky and there appear to be huge boulders in our path, but we continue walking by faith towards Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:54-58
54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Let us keep on going towards Jesus with all of our strength. He's waiting for us at the end of life's journey. Then with the clash of battle behind us, only a last remaining din in our ears, we can lay down our arms and rest safely with Jesus at peace in His arms. My favorite scripture verse is Isaiah 4:6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the day time from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.
Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? Jeremiah 32:27
