David's Prayer in Psalms 9

15 The nations have sunk down in the pit which they made;
In the net which they hid, their own foot is caught.
16 The LORD is known by the judgment He executes;
The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands.


17 The wicked shall be turned into hell,
And all the nations that forget God.
18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten;
The expectation of the poor shall not perish forever.

19 Arise, O LORD,
Do not let man prevail;
Let the nations be judged in Your sight.
20 Put them in fear, O LORD,
That the nations may know themselves to be but men

Proverbs 1:7 tells us The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,

All across the world "christians" are crying for God's Judgement to come..."surely its near, I mean Sodom and Gomorrah couldn't have been worse?"

And though the Cry is justified...

1 Peter 4 tells us

17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 Now


“ If the righteous one is scarcely saved,
Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”[f]

19 Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.


What does God's Judgement Look like? What would He do?

Well first let us realize "what is His House?"

In Genesis 27 and 28 we are told the story of Jacob and Essau

Jacob had stolen his brother's birthright and blessing ...and he was running for his life and was hiding

and in Chapter 28...

So he (Jacob) came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep. 12 Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.

16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.” 17 And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!”

Jacob then made an altar and named that special place Bethel, which Mean House of God

So what we see is God coming to Jacob in a dream and what was Jacob's reaction....He was first afraid (The Fear of God is the beginning of Knowledge)....then he declared this revelation

SURELY THE LORD IS IN THIS PLACE and I didn't even know it!!

He then responded by making an altar

David Cried in Psalms 9

Put the Nations in Fear oh Lord, It was the Heart of God crying through Him....

It's God Desire that all men would come to saving KNOWLEDGE of Him....that None Should Perish

and He wants to reveal Himself through His Church

But His Church is asleep....we are hiding in our four walls ...we are hiding and "playing church"....we are merchandising the gospel, it's a multi-million dollar industry for some

we have "christian" tv channels covering the globe and "around the world" broadcasting messages 24/7

but Here's the deal......Their's a Famine In the Land....And God's Heart is breaking

In Jeremiah 23 we see a picture of Our Lord's Heart at a time very similar to these evil days

9 My heart within me is broken
Because of the prophets;
All my bones shake.
I am like a drunken man,
And like a man whom wine has overcome,
Because of the LORD,
And because of His holy words.
10 For the land is full of adulterers;
For because of a curse the land mourns.
The pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up.
Their course of life is evil,
And their might is not right.
11 “ For both prophet and priest are profane;
Yes, in My house I have found their wickedness,” says the LORD.
12 “ Therefore their way shall be to them
Like slippery ways;
In the darkness they shall be driven on
And fall in them;
For I will bring disaster on them,
The year of their punishment,” says the LORD.
13 “ And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria:
They prophesied by Baal
And caused My people Israel to err.
14 Also I have seen a horrible thing in the prophets of Jerusalem:
They commit adultery and walk in lies;
They also strengthen the hands of evildoers,
So that no one turns back from his wickedness.
All of them are like Sodom to Me,
And her inhabitants like Gomorrah.

16 Thus says the LORD of hosts:


“ Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you.
They make you worthless;
They speak a vision of their own heart,

JUDGEMENT BEGINS IN THE HOUSE OF GOD

Our Lord walked into the Temple, He began to overturn the things that brought Him anger and frustration....He turned things Upside Down...It was His Version of An Extreme Home Makeover

In His Judgement He spoke "MY House Shall be called a House of Prayer" He exposed sin...."You have made it into a den of thieves"

I want You to take special note that Jesus went to HIS HOUSE ...He Cleaned House and He brought testimony against His House

and Now I ask you this question

What is Jesus House?

Paul asked us this question too

"Know Ye NOT that You are Temple of God?"

Jesus is coming to you ...through this message...He's exposing things in your Life (His House) that need to be turned upside down

You know what they are......what would be His Testimony of His House? What would He say You Have made His House??

Pastor's, I challenge you, no.... I dare you.....sunday morning, instead of preaching another message...call your people to pray....

I strongly urge everyone to pray over Sounding's OP and ask the Lord what we should be praying into. I did that last night in evening prayer, and my last post was the answer I got this morning. The foundation of my prayers for the church is based on Moses prayer in Numbers 14:1-16

1 That night all the people of the community raised their voices and wept aloud. 2 All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole assembly said to them, "If only we had died in Egypt! Or in this desert! 3 Why is the LORD bringing us to this land only to let us fall by the sword? Our wives and children will be taken as plunder. Wouldn't it be better for us to go back to Egypt?" 4 And they said to each other, "We should choose a leader and go back to Egypt."
5 Then Moses and Aaron fell facedown in front of the whole Israelite assembly gathered there. 6 Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had explored the land, tore their clothes 7 and said to the entire Israelite assembly, "The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. 8 If the LORD is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. 9 Only do not rebel against the LORD. Moses was saying, in essence, that the enemies of the Lord would declare Him inadequate to retain those who belong to Him in the face of opposition, therefore refuting the Glory Of His Name. This shouldn't be permitted to happen, which is why we must pray in faith, compassion and forgiveness for our brothers and sisters in Christ and for the Jews.

Ask Him, then, to give each of you prayers for the Salvation of many, He is faithful and He will do it.

First let me say I agree with the OP. Prayer is the key. And yes mans ways are evil. But the battle is not against man. The battle is not flesh and blood. I read the word "Judgement" and as it is written it shall be. But what about all those that came before? The lucky ones I guess. We treat the WORLD like people in it deserve JUDGEMENT! Our savior is not coming to FIGHT MAN! I read these things alot and SATAN is almost never found talked about in them. I don't think most KNOW what a Judgement is. God cant not ever sin. He never makes mistakes. We read where thousands die and then read "GODS JUDGEMENT!" Ok .. sure.. for some free ride to be forever with Jesus for others to wait for the day of Judgement. Please not the.. God is showing them they need to REPENT! WOW a God that is 100% pure love, can never sin and the best way He can get people to change is to KILL THEM. Make some of them SUFFER. While satan .. nothing. He just stand in the back laughing.

Hmm I wonder if we don't, wont listen to our Father.. He then has to step back and satan moves in and does what he knows best. Look at Job..God did what? Yep then gave Job twice as much. Satan comes to kill steal and destroy. God comes to give life and more. Every time I seen something really bad happen I found GOD was there at the start WARNING people.. crying for them to repent and change. I will admit I don't know the in's and outs of Gods Judgement s. But I do know HIM.

There is a battle in the supernatural that we never see. That hits in the natural sometimes. Like Sodom and Gomorrah.. what like God went there and told satan to get out of the way for all humans there will be judged? lol didnt hurt satan if thats all it was. That would make satan happy. God killing his children.

God gets upset when people DIE before their time. He wants ALL to have as much time as it takes to get SAVED! Why would God hate abortion? Then for something God does not like yet He does? So yes like the OP said we don't pray.

All some evil spirit had to do is twist how we see God. He never came with a host of angels..no He left His throne.. came as a man. We don't know Him. We read a book thats just enough for what we need yet leaves billions upon billions of things not written. And we read this book and KNOW God? I don't even know my best friend, wife, son yet I KNOW God, His mind, how He works?

You know when He told me in 2009 something was about to happen to this world and its not good. He was not talking about Himself. So yes it is satan that knows his time is up. And is going to try to take as many of US as he can. So God trys the best He can to save us.. and yet there are some that make the choice to serve satan. For this they have to pay the price.

There's a story of a Soldier in the Roman Army who came to Jesus on BEHALF of one of His servants, HE INTERCEDED on another's behalf

He got Jesus's Ear, Jesus HEARD and JESUS Intervened.......HE SENT HIS WORD and in the very hour the Roman Soldier had interceded on behalf of his servant.....the servant was made WHOLE

But Here's the deal,

God the Father, put the burden of that servant upon the Roman Soldier

There are many people The Father has desired to put on your heart, but You NEED TO GO TO HIM and release that Burden....It's all part of His Sovereign Plan

The greatest sin of this HOUR is not alcohol, meth or porn or whatever ACT you can think to insert

it's GOD-Less ness, it's living Life without HIM that grieves Him so and leads to all those other acts

He's a Jealous God and He's MOST Jealous for HIS HOUSE.......YOU!!!!!!!

IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM!!!!! PRAY WITHOUT CEASING!!!!

It might be wise to pray today and this weekend. I've been getting a warning in my spirit this morning, I've asked three times and I still seem to be hearing this is a general warning, not specific to me. Anybody else picking up on anything?

Heavenly Father,

I come before Your throne through the shed blood of Your Son Jesus, obediently and boldly, sensing Your Call and drawing

Father, evil days scream out and taunt, superbug virus's, rumor's of economic collapse, joblessness, despair, suicide bomber's within our borders, terrorist cells in cities nationwide......

Father I take to heart your word that You seek for a people to stand in the gap and cry out on behalf of the nation that You will have mercy. That's what I'm crying out for Father, MERCY, Have Mercy upon us and forgive our sins, and the sins of the nation

Forgive the Godlessness of the people who have forsaken Your Truth and Commands and have turned our back on You and have worshipped creation instead of You the Creator

Father, It's your Goodness that Leads to repentance,....No one comes to You unless You Draw them

Open the eyes, open the ears.....cause Jesus Name to be lifted high, raise up laborer's with Your Words on their Lips and Your passion in their hearts

raise a standard against the enemy, put a guard over our churches, our homes, our schools, our borders and withstand the enemy's evil plan for our demise

wake up those who are called by your name from their slumber and apathy and fill us with an urgency and a soberness and a new vigilance

stir the hearts of Your People to seek Your Face.....arise in this hour ...in us and through us to be The Salt and the Light You called us to be

Father, evil days scream out and taunt, superbug virus's, rumor's of economic collapse, joblessness, despair, suicide bomber's within our borders, terrorist cells in cities nationwide......

Father I take to heart your word that You seek for a people to stand in the gap and cry out on behalf of the nation that You will have mercy. That's what I'm crying out for Father, MERCY, Have Mercy upon us and forgive our sins, and the sins of the nation

Forgive the Godlessness of the people who have forsaken Your Truth and Commands and have turned our back on You and have worshipped creation instead of You the Creator

Father, It's your Goodness that Leads to repentance,....No one comes to You unless You Draw them

Open the eyes, open the ears.....cause Jesus Name to be lifted high, raise up laborer's with Your Words on their Lips and Your passion in their hearts

raise a standard against the enemy, put a guard over our churches, our homes, our schools, our borders and withstand the enemy's evil plan for our demise

wake up those who are called by your name from their slumber and apathy and fill us with an urgency and a soberness and a new vigilance

stir the hearts of Your People to seek Your Face.....arise in this hour ...in us and through us to be The Salt and the Light You called us to be

It's the same message I have been hearing for 18 months. My spirit is continually stirred because of this.

A myriad of todays pastors/teachers:

1 The word of the LORD came to me: 2 "Son of man, speak to your countrymen and say to them: 'When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman, 3 and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people, 4 then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not take warning and the sword comes and takes his life, his blood will be on his own head. 5 Since he heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning, his blood will be on his own head. If he had taken warning, he would have saved himself. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes the life of one of them, that man will be taken away because of his sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood.'

that is almost eerie, I've recently had that ONE verse heavy on my heart because my spiritual mom died of cancer, she was the most influential spiritual person I've ever personally known

but her loss to cancer devastated her son and I felt led to share that verse with Him as to encourage him that His mom, had fought the good fight and that The Lord saw fit to "take her" out of what is coming earlier than most

Enoch walked with God and the Lord took Him, it's another picture of this

I'm just so stirred that "ducks are in a row"....there are soooo many "time bombs" in place

Our Lord's command is to KNOW and LOVE Him, but in leaving us here, It's to reveal Himself through us in that KNOWLEDGE

I'm convinced that he wants to speak through "brokenness" "weeping oracles"

but the revelation of that brokenness can ONLY come through Communion/Fellowship/Dining with Him

Should I hide anything of which I'm about to do???

I hear ya. In the original Hebrew those verses run together. No verse breaks.

Yes the Lord's return is near. I have known it for years, but things are changing. I think we believers know there is not much time left.

Sounding, odd you should just now refer to Lot praying to God for those in the city where his soul was vexed by the unrighteousness around him. Not more than a few minutes ago I also referred to Lot and his intercession for those in Sodom in another thread! (Darling of the MSM)

I take that as a confirmation that what I said there was correct and what you say here is correct. God often speaks the same thing to different people.
