    Default Same sex adoption

In Oz they are coming close to approving same sex adoptions , Praying hard this does not happen, bad enough allowing same sex marriages, but to put children into the mix is sickening, Lord please protect them and us from this untoward generation
A bill to allow same sex adoption in NSW has narrowly passed the first stage of the lower house, with 46 MPs agreeing in-principle to the legislation and 44 opposing it.

A list of amendments will now be debated and voted on before the final version of the bill is put to a vote, which could occur later today.

MPs in the Legislative Assembly were voting on the private member's bill, which called for same-sex couples to be allowed to adopt, that was put forward by Sydney lord mayor and independent MP for Sydney, Clover Moore.

Yes I have been praying since I heard this for God's grace and mercy to have this overturned.

They have snuck this past the public while we are all watching to see who will get Federal Government.

My prayer goes as far as asking God to deal severely with those who are behind this agenda and have pushed this through at such a time so that the Minsiters didn't ahve much time for the public to respond and write to their Ministers on this motion.

Praying if it was done illegally for it will be exposed. Praying God will currently deal with all who are cowardly and voting for this bill just to gain favourtism with the gay community and not considering the RIGHTS of the CHILD. Praying for whatever can be done for this bill to be delayed until it can be properly debated by the public. Amen

Praying for the Protection of Children up for adoption that the Lord would protect them against the agenda of the homosexual community and their supporters Amen

Very Very angry at these politicians sneaking these kinds of bills without vigours public debate and time for public to have a voice on these matters.

There will be many ungodly things come to pass before God says "ENOUGH". I am both sickened and saddened that children will be those suffering the effects of our debauchery. God will find a way to "vaccinate" those children who would choose to be saved, I AM SURE. Praise God Almighty for His unending Grace, Love, and Mercy for all people.

Australians all, let us regret; for we were young and free.
We'd golden soil and wealth for toil, our home was gurt by sea.
Our land abounds in The Lord's gifts of beauty rich and rare,
In history's page let every stage lament Australia's fare.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
My true citizenship is now in the Kingdom of Heaven, so the sorrow and outrage I feel at the subversion and corruption of my former home is comforted....but what of the unsaved? They'll fall for the synthetic crises (plural) and welcome the strong man with all the answers, the beast waiting in the wings for his curtain call. Praying for all men everywhere to repent and know The Lord Jesus Christ, in this life, before it's too late and they confess His Lordship, Holiness and Glory at the sentencing. Praying also that the madness is held in check and that those that belong to the fold are protected and comforted, and that The Lord come soon.

My best friend of soon to be two years is the adopted daughter of two homosexual men. :l So, I have some what conflicted feelings on this, but I have to say: God made children to be raised by a mother and father, and messing with that is wrong. Marriage is designed to be between and MAN and WOMAN, and children are designed to be raised by one MAN and one WOMAN. As much as the gay couples try to imitate that, it doesn't work. Sorry, T.T (my nickname for my friend.), having your grandparents there doesn't cut it. I had to help my friend when she got her, um, "monthly gift", because she was embarrassed to talks to her dads about it, and she's gotten picked on for her parents being gay, and it's clear that it's not the way God designed things to be.
    I hope that made sense!

Perfect sense, this is a classic example of it being wrong, marriage is a balance of both sexes, God did not want Adam and Steve to be fruitful

This Bill has only passed the Lower House. Still has to be fully passed. There is a sense this may be a stunt by the failing NSW Labor government to get minority groups on side before the next State elections.

Meanwhile many who are opposed to this Bill will be doing everything they can to have it reversed.

I read some very good articles in todays Sydney Newspaper that certainly made a lot of legal sense as to why same sex adoptions should not go through. They outlined the obvious which has been overlooked by this Bill the Child's rights. Hopefully with the Lord's help it will be overturned.

for the Lord to enable all who are currently petitioning against this Sax Sex Adoption Bill to be able to make their voice heard publically and to the government especially who will be voting to finalise this Bill. Amen

If the Government goes ahead with this Bill they are just storing up more wrath and reason for God to judge them during the Tribulation. So be it! God is just!

Yah and I'm really nervous because we're moving up to high school and I think the kids that pick on her are in the grade above us! =0

    Sorry, kinda off topic.

I have to wonder about her younger brother, nightmare he is (that boy is EVIL!); he's probably going to get teased once he's older.

I really do have to wonder about this, because with bans on same- sex adoption, would Therese be taken from her dads?

But let's hope and pray that any further same- sex adoption will not go through. =)

This same sex adoption bill is being passed here in Australia so I am not sure what is happening where you live.

Sounds like you have had the law in place for sometime time now. The law would certianly not just take children away from same sex couples without thinking of the fact the children have been in a family for a while now and to just remove them would be wrong.

Any changes would I'm sure be applied to new adoptions not exisiting ones.

No parents are perfect and sounds like your friend has what most family have plus just a bit more. When you get to highschool Cruel Kids always look for some reason to pick on others. It is a shame we have allowed kids to get away with bullying to the degree they do it today. It is part of the Signs of the End Times.

If your friend has any problems at school the best thing is to make sure the teachers and her two Dads find out as soon as possible. Most kids don't want to complain and so they let it go until it becomes a very big thing. The sooner your friend tells someone the better. So you can encourage her in that "IF" SHE GETS picked on. I am hoping that it won't happen.

Don't worry about things that haven't happened yet. Put any concerns you have in prayer to God and leave them in His hands. If they occur God will be with you and help you through them.
